Snippets of Wisdom Thoughts Create How You Feel Take a moment and notice how you're feeling.

Do you feel good?

Do you feel bad?

The way you feel right now is because of the thoughts you're thinking.

Our emotions tell on our thoughts every single time.

Every thought we think stirs up the matching emotion.

So if you're wondering why you feel good,

It's because you were just thinking good-feeling thoughts.

On the other hand,

If you notice you're feeling bad,

It's because you are thinking thoughts that feel bad.

These thoughts are always in contradiction to what our inner being is thinking at the same time.

We have this amazingly accurate emotional guidance system within each of us.

If you boil down all the labeled emotions,

There are only two.

One emotion feels good,

Positive,

And one emotion feels bad,

Negative.

So rather than trying to control all the 60,

000 to 80,

000 thoughts we have in a day,

It would be much easier to pay attention to how we feel throughout the day.

I always suggest that people create the habit of taking their emotional barometer reading throughout the day by setting alarms on their phones to remind them to stop for a moment and check in with how they're feeling.

Once they get a reading of their feelings,

I tell them to look back over the thoughts they were just thinking because their emotions won't lie.

We think in patterns,

Thus creating emotional patterns.

We may have a thousand thoughts that don't feel good.

That's the Law of Attraction at work.

Once we spend less time than a minute on a thought pattern,

The Law of Attraction has already matched that emotional pattern you've created with your thoughts and will bring you more.

Fortunately,

The same is true for the thought patterns that feel good.

Once we get on a roll thinking about good-feeling thoughts,

The Law of Attraction will oblige us with more thoughts that match them.

Now we're off and running in a really good-feeling place.

Do you need to shift your thoughts to feel better?

Notice how you feel and then choose a better-feeling thought.

Not necessarily the best-feeling thought,

But one that feels like relief.

Then choose another and another until your friend,

The Law of Attraction,

Gets a hold of that new pattern and takes you on a delightful ride of feeling good.
