Welcome to a daily arrival ritual.
An Inside Out Living Daily Arrival asks,
How do I arrive into my own life today?
So let's begin.
Before you even begin your day,
Before you answer the emails,
Before you take care of everyone else,
Let's wake up together.
Not just your mind,
Your whole self.
Take a breath in.
And as you exhale,
Maybe let out a little sigh.
And again.
And this time gently roll your shoulders.
Maybe even give them a little shake.
Let your arms hang loose.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wake up your body.
Notice how you're arriving today.
Maybe you feel slow a little stiff a little foggy Maybe parts of you would rather stay in bed.
That's okay.
You don't have to be fully on to begin.
Just here.
That's all that matters.
So let's gently turn your attention inward now.
Like you're checking in with a friend you care about.
And ask yourself.
Hey,
How's it going this morning?
And then pause.
Let's listen.
No fixing,
No rushing,
Just noticing what's here.
Now bring a little curiosity to your body.
Does it want to stretch,
To move,
To shake something loose?
Maybe you gently sway side to side or roll your neck back.
Or take a deeper breath and let it out with a soft sound.
Let your body lead for a moment.
There is no right way to do this.
And as you move,
Notice your energy.
Is it low,
Buzzing,
Somewhere in between?
Can you meet it with a little kindness?
Maybe even a hint of playfulness.
And now ask yourself,
What might support me today?
Right in this moment.
Maybe it's a little more space,
A little more honesty,
A little more movement,
A little more rest.
But whatever comes,
Be enough.
Okay,
I have one more question and I invite you to choose if you'd like to answer it.
How do I want to show up today?
Not what do I have to accomplish or what do I have to get done but How do I want to meet this thing?
And see what comes up.
If it feels good,
Place a hand on your heart.
Or your belly,
Or simply notice your breath and remind yourself.
I can come back to myself again and again.
Even if I get pulled away,
Even if I forget,
I can always return.
Take one more breath.
Maybe give your body one last gentle shake or stretch.
And as you step into your day,
Bring a little of this aliveness with you.
You don't have to leave yourself behind.
You are already here.
