Hello,
My name is Madri Gardiner.
This meditation is a words of affirmation for you.
Find yourself a comfortable place to rest.
I'm so delighted that you've found this practice.
Make yourself as comfortable as you like.
You might like to be in your favorite chair,
On a couch,
Laying down on a mat or even in your bed.
Affirmations are a positive statement that can help you challenge and overcome self-doubt and negative thoughts.
When you repeat them often and believe in them,
You can start to make positive changes.
Affirmations are more than just wishful thinking.
Think of positive affirmations in this way.
Many of us do repetitive exercises to improve our physical strength and affirmations are like exercises for your mind and view of life.
These positive mental repetitions can help reprogram your thinking patterns so that over time you begin to think and act differently.
With a more positive mood and outlook,
You will show up with more self-compassion and resilience.
At times when we're feeling low,
When your cup is empty or your imaginary bucket which we all have holding our good thoughts and feelings,
Self-worth and self-compassion is feeling depleted.
Use this time here in your meditation practice to help rejuvenate,
Replenish,
Revive that inner part of you.
By listening to these words of affirmation and then repeating them to yourself,
It is my hope that you will feel more loved,
Accepted and secure in your body.
You will embody hope and joy.
I invite you now to listen and receive the words of affirmation.
There are seven phrases.
I will then repeat them so that you can say them to yourself,
After which I'll allow some silence.
There is no end chime for this practice.
You are worthy of love.
You are as calm as you want to be.
You are allowed to be more calm.
You can handle anything that comes your way.
You are an amazing person.
I admire your inner strength and innate wisdom.
You are enough.
Allow a gentle cleansing breath here.
Give thanks for the sensations of deep self-compassion.
You may like to place your hand on your heart,
Repeating the phrases to yourself after me.
I am worthy of love.
I am as calm as I want to be.
I am allowed to be more calm.
I can handle anything that comes my way.
I am an amazing person.
I admire my inner strength and innate wisdom.
I am enough.
I am as calm as I want to be.
