I Am Beyond The Bones

This meditation is a reminder of how rich your inner world is. Because we sometimes forget and get caught up in everyday material life. But we are more than that, much more than that. Because we are more than our appearance, status, and title.
We are beyond the bones.

Welcome to this moment. I am grateful that you are here and that you're taking time for yourself. Close your eyes if you feel like it and come and take a deep breath with me. Exhale through the mouth. Continue deepening your breath. Let your body settle. Allow your mind to calm and leave the thoughts aside. Inhale goodness. Exhale settle even deeper. I am. To say that I am enough would be so little. This would be an underestimation of the language I could use. I'm not only enough but I am overflowing with appreciation for the life that is manifested in me. I find myself in so many places. Places I've never been to but suddenly I get to experience them. I am the reflection in the mirror but I am not defined by it. That reflection is what you see but it is a tiny fraction of what my inner world looks like. There are colors and shades, Form and formlessness. I am more within and without. I take a deep breath in letting the air fill me and exhaling releasing and trusting. I am a creation of love just like you. That's why both you and I turn to be love. I am not the color of my eyes. I am the energy that you feel when you stare at them. I am not my words. I am the feeling that time runs faster when we talk. I am the inner intelligence that guides every cell in my body to do its processes. I am the consciousness beyond the bones, Beyond the material world. My purpose is to be and I follow it blindly. I am the breath that touches me inside and out. I take a deep breath in and a long exhale out. You can find me in the gray rainy clouds because I'm neither black nor white. Maybe it will rain, Maybe it won't. You can find me in the sunshine rays in the summer for I'm light and warm. You can find me in the falling leaves during autumn for they have my fingerprints. You can find me in the snow because I can purify the air with my presence. You can find me in the scent of the flowers in the spring for I bloom with every season of my life. You can find me in every season since change is part of my nature. I am in the waves because I flow and sometimes I crash, But I always find my calm. If you find yourself swimming in the ocean, Look out for me. Look out for yourself. In the majesty of the view, In the stillness that is only found in movement, In the magnificence of life itself. I take a cleansing breath in, Filling myself with life and I exhale the unnecessary. I am the fruit, The tree and the root. I am deep. Don't mistake me for what you see on the surface. I am strong yet soft. My spirit is flexible. I am both the creation and the creator himself. I am built to endure every single obstacle as I have always done. I am a mixture of fire, Water, Air and earth. I am the past, The future and the present. I am every moment in which my presence is felt. I am every moment in which my presence is missed. I am every smile that I cause. I left a part of myself with every person I interacted with. I am every loving word I have said. Every hug I ever gave was my way of stamping people with my love. My language is too poor to describe me, To define me and yet I'm in every book I have touched, In every page that I have read and in every song I love. I am a puzzle which I continuously solve and the picture is ever changing. I am chaos and order at the same time. My breath knows how to calm my storms. Energy is my fuel and yet I am the energy itself. I invite you to embrace the mantra for today's practice. I am beyond the bones. Repeat it silently in your mind and let it purify you for the next couple of moments during which I will give you some quiet time. I am beyond the bones. I am beyond the bones. I am beyond the bones. Slowly bring back your attention. I hope you know how rich your inner being is. I hope you enrich it even more and know that no matter how different we look on the outside, Our souls are more alike than we think. You can find me in all those places but I do hope you found some part of yourself in those words even though they are not me. And I hope you found a piece of yourself in me. For we are the past, The future but most importantly the present. Thank you.
