Hello and welcome.
This is Margo McKinley here.
I'm so grateful to be here with you for this guided healing hot spring meditation.
I invite you during this session to fully tune in and relax as I guide you through every step of this healing journey.
Whenever you are ready,
Sit or lie in a comfortable position,
Allowing yourself to lean back and surrender.
Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
Simply noticing the way your breath fills your body on your inhales and leaves your body on the exhales.
Noticing the way your chest and belly rise and fall.
Noticing the way the air flows through the nose,
In and out.
Gently start to deepen your breath,
Inhaling a little bit deeper.
Exhaling a little bit longer.
Inhaling into the chest and into the belly.
Exhaling,
Releasing the belly,
Releasing the chest.
Let this breath fill your body.
And on every breath,
Let yourself sink a little bit deeper.
Let go of any tightness or tension that you might be holding.
Exhaling and surrendering.
Start to bring your awareness to the bottom of your feet.
Just noticing any sensations or temperature.
Start to notice your feet start to relax.
Feeling a little bit heavier,
A little bit warmer.
Your awareness starts to rise up to the tops of your feet.
Letting go of any tension or stress,
Feeling heavier.
Your awareness continues to rise to your ankles.
Letting go.
Feeling heavy and warm.
And up into your calves,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Up into your knees,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Up into your thighs,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Up into your hips,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Up into your stomach,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Up into your chest,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Up into your shoulders,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Into your arms,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Into your hands,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Into your fingers,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Into your neck,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
Into your face,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
To the top of the head,
Releasing.
Feeling heavy and warm.
And perhaps you scan through your body one more time,
Seeing if there's any areas that need a little extra attention,
A little extra release.
Perhaps sending a breath to that area.
Perhaps sending a little love.
Letting go and telling it that it's okay to relax.
It's okay to let go.
Gently start to visualize that you are out in the middle of a beautiful forest.
Trees reaching tall towards the sky.
The sun shining down,
Warm and radiant from above.
You notice that you're floating.
You're floating in a warm,
Nourishing hot spring.
The warm water supporting your body as you float,
Lying on your back,
Gazing towards the sky.
You feel the warmth of this water and the steam gently on your face.
Every once in a while,
You feel a few bubbles rising from the bottom gently pass over your skin as they rise to the surface.
You feel comfortable and held.
You feel safe.
You continue to look around you in awe and wonder of this beautiful place,
Noticing the flowers surrounding this little pool.
Seeing the details of their petals.
Seeing the steam from the water rise past them.
You see rocks surrounding the edges of the pool,
Comfortable,
Smooth stones.
Perhaps you reach over and touch one,
Running your fingers along the edges.
Seeing the textures.
Perhaps you see some birds fly up overhead and you hear their beautiful melody as they call out to one another.
You hear the rustling of the flowers and grasses and the trees as the wind flows gently.
You notice the beautiful scent of the flowers nearby,
The freshness of the air.
You soon start to notice where the warmth or the energy of this hot spring is coming from.
You realize that the heat energy of the water is coming from deep below,
Deep to the layers of the earth where there is abundant healing energy stored.
You visualize this energy as a beautiful light deep into the layers of the earth and you see it rise as it continues to rise closer and closer to your beautiful spring.
You see it enter the water,
Purifying the water and everything that is in it,
Transforming whatever needs to be transformed,
Allowing for whatever feelings or emotions are there,
Allowing for anger or pain or joy or love,
Just simply letting it be.
You notice near your feet there is a small waterfall where the water is draining out,
Flowing down a small gentle river to be recycled into the earth.
So anything that you let go,
Anything you let the water wash away will be used for the earth to grow.
This energy holds you in this pool of water,
Providing a love and being a witness for what needs to be seen.
You feel this energy flow into you.
Simply allowing the love to fill you up in the way that you need right now.
After some time,
You feel complete.
You feel thankful for the earth.
You feel thankful for the water,
The healing energies,
For this beautiful place and for yourself taking the opportunity to spend some time with yourself and allow yourself to just be.
Gently start to tune back in to your physical body,
Bringing your awareness back to your breath,
Breathing in a little bit deeper,
Breathing out a little bit longer,
Knowing that any time you can return to this beautiful hot spring for healing or nourishment to just simply be seeing how you are.
Gently start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes slowly,
Thanking yourself for going on that journey today.
