This Practical Prayer follows a specific formula, which was distilled from the effective prayers done in all major religions. This prayer is spoken in the first person. As you listen, you're invited to accept the words of health, vitality, and wholeness for yourself, also in the first person.

I speak this practical prayer for health,

Vitality,

And wholeness for myself,

In the first person.

And I invite you to take it for yourself,

Also in the first person.

There's only one power,

One mind,

One source.

This one has created everything.

And because its creation is all one,

I know that every part of creation fits together perfectly with every other part in perfect balance and harmony.

I am part of this creation.

So I,

Too,

Am perfect balance and harmony.

I experience this in my body as health,

Vitality,

And wholeness.

I am perfect health and comfort,

Right now and always.

This harmony and balance is my birthright.

Any discomfort,

Distress,

Or disease is a temporary interruption of my standard experience of health and wholeness.

There is no truth or power to it.

So I turn my attention away from symptoms or conditions to the truth behind them.

I am perfect health,

Harmony,

And balance.

My body returns to its intended perfection immediately.

I give thanks for this healing,

Which is simply the revealing of this truth.

I let it be.

And so it is.

I really like the words that you used. I’ve been in grief and physically sick for a month now. It no longer feels like it is just temporary, and I needed to be reminded that it is. I typically experience good health and I’m grateful for that. This is just an interruption.
