A Practical Prayer to Live in Peace And Harmony

This Practical Prayer follows a specific formula, which was distilled from the effective prayers done in all major religions. I speak this practical prayer for a life of peace and harmony in the first person,

And I invite you to take it for yourself,

Also in the first person.

Everything comes from one divine source.

The infinite mind of God creates everything that makes up the universe,

And everyone in it.

His creation includes me,

And each one listening,

And everyone we encounter.

Every relationship and every exchange is,

In fact,

God interacting with God.

Knowing this,

I immediately understand that every relationship is yet another expression of the infinite,

Moving against itself to bring a new demonstration of that love into being.

Every relationship is the divine harmony of one power.

There are many musical notes and tones,

Each wonderful in its own way.

Combining them brings about harmony.

When the combination of notes is discordant,

It's immediately obvious,

And the musicians are able to adjust their interaction to a more pleasant resonance.

When something other than harmony and peace arise in my relationships,

It's an indication that something can be adjusted.

No one is wrong or bad.

It's simply an opportunity to shift to a more peaceful,

Loving,

And harmonious note.

I adjust easily and gently,

As does everyone with whom I interact.

My relationships are always the supreme harmony,

Bringing peace and joy and love to me and all involved.

I am grateful for my awareness of the harmony and the dissonance,

And for the loving and gentle way the universe responds and adjusts to bring that harmony into my life.

I accept it.

I let it be so.

And so it is.
