Hey there,
Today's meditation will simply be a guided relaxation.
Every one of us deserves to relax deeply and fully every single day.
Whether that be sleeping,
Meditating,
Or taking a nap.
So let's start our meditation of relaxation by getting as comfortable as possible.
Resting your head.
Closing the eyes.
Closing the eyes gives your body the signal that it's time to relax.
Also keep your mouth closed,
Only breathing in and out through the nose.
This helps you relax even more.
With practice,
Breathing through the nose becomes more comfortable than any other kind of breathing.
Feel yourself relaxing more and more with each breath you take.
Breathing and relaxing.
Letting your muscles go loose and limp.
No need to move any part of your body because you are just so relaxed already.
Let your mind begin to drift and float to the thought of a white cloud.
Fluffy with a blue backdrop.
You can imagine that you are laying on this cloud.
Softly supported,
Just like you are floating on air.
And this cloud is drifting down,
Down towards the earth.
You can see the green glow.
Earth seems to be covered in nature.
You can even make out a beautiful blue body of water.
A crystal clear lake.
And you are drifting down on this cloud towards the nature.
The cloud lands on the ground and begins to slowly dissipate.
The fogginess of the air around becomes clearer and clearer.
You see you are standing in a beautiful meadow of pink poppies.
The poppy flowers are blowing in the wind.
It seems like they go on for miles.
The lush green below your feet is so soft,
Yet supportive.
It is time to lay down in the poppy field and just relax.
As you lay down,
The pink poppies are swaying above your vision and you can see the blue sky in the background.
White fluffy clouds are drifting by ever so slowly.
And you begin to count the clouds as they drift.
One cloud.
Two clouds.
Three clouds.
Four.
Five.
Six.
Seven.
Eight.
Nine.
And ten.
Ten clouds.
You notice that you are much more relaxed now than you were before.
And even before that,
And before this meditation,
Right now you are so very relaxed,
Resting in the swaying poppies.
The colors of pink and green and blue are all around you.
Relaxing.
You may notice your breath has slowed to a gentle and easy pace,
Breathing ever so gently.
Your eyes are closed.
Your face is relaxed.
See if you can let all of the muscles in your face completely relax.
Softening.
The jaw is becoming soft.
Your body may be feeling very heavy or very light.
Whatever you feel is completely fine.
You are just relaxing.
And as you rest,
Your body is rejuvenating.
You are getting more energy from this deep relaxation.
See if you can let go even deeper into a state of relaxation by saying to yourself deeper and deeper.
Deeper and deeper.
Deeper and deeper.
These words let your relaxation amplify.
Every time you hear the words deeper and deeper,
You become more relaxed,
More deeply relaxed.
It's okay to let go fully.
You are becoming more energized the more you relax.
Counting down now from a five.
With each number you hear,
Let your relaxation double.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
Deeper and deeper.
By now you are very deeply relaxed and you may not want to rise from this meditation just yet,
So continue as long as you'd like.
However you are fully re-energized.
Whenever you open your eyes,
You will feel completely refreshed.
