Hello and welcome.

My name is Mackenzie Costley and today I'm going to be guiding you through a quick body scan to help you relax and release any discomfort you might be experiencing.

Please find yourself in a quiet space where you won't be disturbed.

Once you get settled,

Come to a comfortable seated position or you may feel comfortable lying down.

Allow your eyes to begin to close or bring them to a soft gaze.

Turning your focus to your breath,

Simply taking a moment to know how it feels in your body.

Maybe it's short and shallow or perhaps a bit longer and deeper.

See now if you can lengthen the in-breath and slowly release the out-breath,

Bringing more and more intention as you do this a few more times.

Now,

Begin to scan your body for any discomfort,

Pain,

Hurt,

Or anywhere that would benefit from a little more care and attention today.

If you're unable to identify an area to focus on today,

That's okay.

Your whole body can benefit from this session.

With your focus on the area that is causing discomfort,

Take a deep inhale,

Sending the breath to that location.

Once it's reached the location,

Allow it to swirl around,

Breaking up any energy or particles that are no longer needed.

And on the exhale,

Your breath courses back up and leaves the body,

Along with any energy needing to dispel.

Inviting in another deep,

Intentional inhale as you send your breath to that location,

Beginning it swirling,

Shaking up anything that doesn't belong.

Beginning to release the breath,

Expelling all that no longer serves you,

Allowing your body to soften just a bit more with the exhale.

Taking in one more in-breath,

Getting any last debris that might still be lingering.

And exhaling.

This time I want you to send love,

Care,

Attention,

Comfort,

And anything else you feel is needed to that area with your next inhale.

Maybe this accompanies a color,

A sensation,

Warmth,

Expelling that area and leaving it there as you exhale.

Taking a moment here to just be,

Allowing your breath to return to a more natural rhythm.

Thanking yourself for taking this time and giving yourself exactly what you needed.

Reminding yourself that slowing down oftentimes helps propel you forward.

Knowing that you can always return to this state anytime you may need.

It was an honor to support you today.

May this offer you the relaxation and healing you needed.

I'd absolutely love to connect with you further.

Feel free to head to my profile to check out my other offerings and resources.

I'll see you soon.
