Welcome to tonight's meditation.
With the holidays behind us and the new year coming forward,
I wanted to guide you through a short little reflection of 2020 and guide you through a visualization exercise so you can begin to embody everything that is yours in 2021.
Begin by sitting in an upright position or laying down if that feels better to you.
Beginning to close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Bring your attention to your breathing.
Without changing or altering.
If you could give this a percentage of the depth of breathing,
What percentage would that be?
Is that 20%?
30%?
Increase this by 10% now.
Increasing this again by 10%.
Filling up your stomach,
Your ribs,
Your chest.
Without force,
Increase this by 10% again.
If this is available,
Increase one last time 10 more percent.
Allowing your breath to become deeper and deeper.
Acknowledging that 2020 was not the year that we had envisioned.
There were still many happy moments that you were able to experience.
Allow those to come to mind right now.
Bringing them to life in the best way possible.
Thinking of all of the ways that you have grown.
All of the ways that you have become stronger.
All of the ways that you have become resourceful.
Each of these have helped you become the person that you are right now.
Now,
Bring to mind the wonderful things that you'd like to do in the upcoming year.
Thinking of your relationships.
Thinking of your friendships.
Thinking of your career.
Thinking of your finances.
Thinking of your health.
Thinking of your happiness.
Thinking of your home.
Is there any traveling that you'd like to do?
Are there any new skills or hobbies that you would like to learn?
Bringing to mind all of these things that you want to shift,
Do,
And achieve.
How will they change your life?
What will be different?
Begin imagining yourself in the future.
One week,
Two weeks,
Three weeks,
One month into the future.
You've already begun feeling the shifts.
What decisions have you made?
What actions have you taken?
Continue moving forward.
You are now six months from today.
You are so much closer.
You are feeling all of the benefits.
What emotions do you have?
You are now one year into the future.
You did it.
You have achieved everything that you set out for.
I want you to engage yourself.
What do you look like?
Who are you with?
Where are you?
What conversations are you having?
Looking back on all of your success,
How did you do it?
What little day-to-day things did you do?
How did you show up?
What did you have to change?
What did you do in your relationships?
In your friendships?
In your career?
Envisioning yourself,
Doing,
Having,
And achieving all that you have set out for.
Bring this to life.
Allow it to play as a film that you're watching.
Maybe it's the people that you're surrounded by,
The place that you are.
You're smiling and laughing.
Allow this image to become just a little more brighter.
Turning up that contrast.
Take a few moments to show such deep gratitude towards this version of yourself that is showing you that all of this is possible.
That you are capable of it all.
That you are capable of it all.
Sealing in any of the emotions and feelings that you may be experiencing.
Storing them as memories that you can always come back to.
Begin wiggling your toes.
Moving your ankles.
Moving your fingers.
Bringing more and more life back to your body.
Taking note of your breath and how you're feeling.
Bringing a smile to your face.
Letting go of your eyes when you're ready to come back.
