Hello friends,

Welcome to your meditation.

Today I wanted to provide you with a shorter meditation that doesn't require 20 to 30 minutes of your time and perhaps something that you can access anytime that you may need a little escape.

So begin to sit back,

Relax,

And close your eyes.

Begin to picture a relaxing place like a beach,

A mountaintop,

A forest,

Or anywhere that you find peace,

Allowing it to become more crisp,

More vivid.

Beginning to imagine what you see,

What you hear,

And what you smell in your imagined oasis.

And start to breathe in slowly,

Slowly,

Allowing the air to fill your lungs and holding your breath for just a moment.

Slowly release your breath as you continue to picture your surroundings.

What do you hear,

See,

Or smell?

As you take another breath,

Feel any tension you're holding on to drain from your muscles,

Letting go,

Relaxing just a little bit more.

As you breathe in and out,

Let go of any negative thoughts from the day.

Free your mind of worry as you continue to picture your happy place.

Draw from the serenity of this moment.

Allow the calmness of your imagined oasis to wash away your worries and drain the tension from your muscles.

Visit here again whenever you like to relax and instill a sense of calm.

Perhaps you visit other areas that you find relaxing.

Remember you can always come back for an escape from the tension and stress of everyday life.
