Active imagination is a cornerstone of Jungian psychology. Carl Jung himself said it was "the vital second part of any analysis." Marie-Louise von Franz said it is "the most powerful tool in Jung's psychology for achieving wholeness - far more efficient than dream interpretation alone." In this Core Practice exercise, we'll be bringing it right back to basics, working with either an image or a feeling that is showing up for you right now. We're going to respond to whatever is calling for your attention and enter into a dialogue with that material in symbolic form. This is a foundational practice you can return to daily as part of your inner work.
