This meditation is called "Roots" and it's for anyone who feels lonely or disconnected. Sometimes we feel as though we are completely alone and this meditation helps us connect to our fellow human beings so that we can feel more connected and loved. This meditation is a good practice to use at any time of day to quickly get you back into alignment.

Hello everyone.

This practice is for anyone that may feel disconnected or lonely.

It's called roots.

So if you could find a comfortable place to sit,

You can start by closing your eyes by taking three deep breaths.

The breathing enables us to bring our minds back into our bodies.

So let's take three deep breaths now.

Breathing in.

And out.

Breathing in.

And out.

Last one.

And out.

We're going to start by relaxing the body,

The top of our head,

And relaxing our forehead.

Let's relax our eyebrows.

Relaxing our eyes.

And our ears.

Relaxing our cheeks.

Relaxing our mouth and our jaw.

Relaxing our neck.

Relaxing our shoulders.

Letting them droop down.

Relaxing our arms.

Relaxing our elbows.

Relaxing our hands and our fingers.

Relaxing our shoulder blades all the way down to our back.

Relaxing our chest.

Relaxing our gut.

Relaxing our navel area all the way down to our perineum.

Relaxing our buttocks.

Relaxing our legs all the way down to our knees.

Relaxing our calves.

Relaxing our shins.

Relaxing our heels.

Relaxing all of our feet and our toes.

Relaxing our whole body.

Now imagine that you have roots growing out of your feet.

And the roots go all the way into the earth.

They go deep,

Deep inside.

And it helps you feel grounded.

Now imagine that your roots meet my roots.

And the roots of all the other people who are doing this meditation.

We are all connected.

Now through my roots,

I'm sending you what you need.

I'm sending you love.

I'm sending you compassion.

I'm sending you healing.

I'm sending you joy and abundance.

I'm sending you peace.

Now if you want,

You can send something back to me or anyone else doing this meditation.

I will continue to send you love,

Compassion,

Joy and abundance.

And when you feel lonely or disconnected,

Remember that through your roots,

You're attached to every one of us doing this meditation.

Now if you feel you've received what you needed,

Then you can take your roots back and take all that love and compassion up your body and into your heart.

Now you can open your eyes.

Always remember that you can always go back to your roots.
