Welcome to "Hello, I'm Friday"! There's too much discussion on social media about Friday excitement and Monday blues. On a deeper level, it's kind of sad not only because it seems most people don't feel excited about their work, but also because we haven't found a way to take lightly the must-dos. On a more entertaining level, the memes and the giggles are amusing and make it easier to describe a feeling just by mentioning a day of the week.

Hello,

I'm Friday.

Experience Sun Friday on Monday morning.

Welcome to an experience as inspiring as a ritual,

As calming as a coffee talk,

As exciting as Friday night.

And all that on Monday morning.

Hello,

I'm Friday,

But you can call me Evy.

So welcome!

It's so nice to have you here.

I'm so happy for this first episode of my first podcast really.

Hello I'm Friday.

The whole thing is all about experiencing some Friday on Monday morning,

Which basically means to let go of any tension your to do might bring,

Any pressure you might feel around the things you have to do and any resentment really for the things you have to do but you can't avoid because I truly am all about positivity and choosing to do things you love and all that beautiful things.

But there are some things that we don't like but still have to do.

So I hope to offer some kind of escapism from anything you feel like escaping from and a little experience and you'll understand why I keep calling it that because it actually is designed to be an experience.

Every episode of the podcast,

Every content I'll be creating from now on will be an experience and hopefully you'll be able to feel that.

But first I want to tackle some of the questions you might have.

First of all what's all with the days of the week,

The Monday,

The Friday and all that.

Basically I was kind of inspired,

Let's say,

By the whole fuss and the excitement people feel when Friday is near and the opposite for Monday.

I feel this shows how many people hate their jobs and their day to day routines and it can be kind of sad unless we take it more from a humoristic perspective.

I kind of took advantage of that because the whole days of the week thing has always meant something to me because of my name actually.

I'm Greek,

My name is Evy which is short for Paraskevi which in Greek means Friday.

When I was little I was really annoyed with my name,

I hated it.

I thought why,

Why did I have to have a day of the week as a name and I didn't like that.

I was mildly picked at at school.

My mom tried to comfort me and tell me that every Friday is my name day but I knew she was lying so it didn't work.

So yeah when I tell you I'm Friday I'm not lying,

I am Friday.

I had used that name before when I had an online magazine which was called Fashilous and I had my own column there because I had more people writing for that magazine and I created my own column which I called,

I used to call Hello Friday but when this magazine closed I guess the name just was left there but I knew I wanted to use it again so when I decided to create a podcast I had my name ready.

So as I said before as everything I create from now on I want every episode of the podcast to be an experience for you not just another piece of content to consume I want you to listen to it either passively or follow along and try to feel what I'm saying.

In the first part I'll be sharing my thoughts on a specific subject anything that has to do with art,

Personal development or just day to day life and in the second part is where the experience comes.

I will take you through a guided experience which as I said before you can either just listen in the background while you do whatever you do or close your eyes and immerse yourself and feel it and use it like a visualization.

By the way I love visualization and meditation and many of the new age stuff but I didn't want to call this whole thing a visualization because I'm not trying to focus on the benefits of it.

I do believe in the benefits of visualization and meditation is scientifically proven,

It has scientifically proven benefits so I'm not even going to go there.

My goal is to create art and if that art happens to benefit you in other levels that's fantastic but it's not the goal.

The goal is to make you feel good in whatever way it happens to do that for you.

So I'm not really going to call it visualization too much that's why I'm going with the experience and especially in the beginning as I try to explain what it is and explain what I do I might say that word a little too often but I don't want to call it visualization or meditation or that I'm guiding you or that I'm coaching you in any way.

I know that my work and some of the future projects I'm planning to launch soon I know that they can have a lot of effects,

Positive effects and benefits but I don't want them to be marketed I guess as healing as coaching.

I don't want to establish myself as a coach as a life coach as a healer a thought leader or anything I love those people but I just want to be an artist and yeah maybe my work will contain these things personal development is something that I'm deeply interested in and I am infusing ideas and even magic in the best way possible don't imagine any creepy things and yeah but it's basically art which is an experience.

So today I won't be discussing any specific subjects I wanted this first episode to be just an intro just explaining what they're all about so we'll get to a sample promo message because there will be promo messages.

I hate selling that's an issue I've had and that's why I've had a few failed business attempts because I really don't like selling I really hate the manipulation tactics I see all around and I just didn't want to do it but my beloved Alex Box once said or at least I saw that on her Instagram feed so I don't know if someone else said it if it's free you are the product so yeah that hit me too because many many free things I've been consuming have been selling me things and obviously I have free will and I can choose what to buy and what not to buy but there are always selling messages some some selling messages can be more icky others can be decent others can be just I'm just letting you know and if you happen to be interested just check it out that last part is the part that I feel more comfortable with when it comes to selling so this is what I'm going to do in every episode I will have some promo messages I will promote my own offerings and if I happen to have any collaboration with another creator or with the brand or something it will have to be something I like this is the condition for any product to come in the podcast and in my site and in everything I create so I hope you feel safe that I won't be selling you I don't want to say the word I won't be selling you selling you I will be informing you about things and you choose for yourself and that not really selling tactic of my own puts me in a position that I need help and I hope you will help me if at the end of this podcast you feel like you liked what you experienced and you know anyone that would like that too I really hope you share it with them I really hope you contact me and tell me your thoughts and yeah just help me out spread the word feel beauty because beauty is a feeling in this premium issue of mine you'll learn how to actively use every pretty thing you own to feel its beauty not just look at it the premium issue includes a full ebook audio lessons and a bonus video experience and it is for you if you want to find a deeper meaning behind external beauty decoration makeup and style get it today at a special price at a pretty creative.

Com moving on to the second part of this podcast which is the experience what follows is a story a visualization a daydreaming session fairy tale I want you to not try to understand it to rationalize it or trouble your mind too much thinking about it avoid questions like how did I get here isn't that against the laws of physics who's going to pick up the kids if I'm here as you would if you were dreaming when you're in the middle of a dream you're not wondering how did I get here or what did this start or nothing like that so that's the mentality I would love you to have while moving to this experience as I said in the beginning you can either just listen to my voice like you've been doing until now or if it's safe for you and if you're not doing something that wants your focused attention you can close your eyes so if it's safe for me now I close my eyes I'm sitting on a flower swing the atmosphere around me feels dreamy with soft light filtered by the tree's foliage the tiny white pink and pale yellow blossoms climbing on the swing's rope and the pleasant humid warmth around me I look down and I see my feet hanging high above the ground the seat of the swing is from light oak wood kind of raw but smooth to sit on I hold the ropes a little tight here and as I feel the juicy leaves and tender blooms crossing inside my palms I feel the rope underneath them with my fingers and feel safer now I start to swing for a moment I was afraid I wouldn't remember how to do it but it's too familiar to forget I look above and see the rich foliage and the trees around me the branches merge together and only a few bold patches reveal pieces of the light blue sky I swing a little faster and start to feel freer the scene smells of grass and dirt the scent of early spring when the ground isn't as dry and warm yet and the granary is young and shy I hear birds singing hidden in the trees above me I make my swing go higher and higher in an attempt to reach them but as I think I get closer they get further away I take a deep breath in and the smell of the grass is so strong I can almost taste it I go higher so high I think I'm flying with my eyes closed I feel the swinging more intensely as the swing goes back my torso bends back and my legs are straight when the swing comes forth I bend my knees and straighten my back I hold the rope a little tighter and let my head drop back to make the feeling a little more unreal I feel the air on my bare skin on my face my arms my closed eyelids and in my hair as I go back and forth back and forth back and forth I can see myself from the side I see loose flowers falling off their stem as the swing moves flying towards the ground some of them seem to sparkle when they catch random rays of light I see again through my eyes at the scenery in front of me I absorb as much green as I can then the perspective keeps changing I see myself from the side and then I see through my eyes I see myself I see the scene myself the scene myself and then poof fill in the blank what happens in your daydream if you have your eyes closed keep them closed I take a deep breath in and it's like the smell of grass merges with anything I can physically smell right now I take another breath in and the physical smell dominates now I move my fingers I feel my skin I open my eyes and I see what's in front of me I notice how I feel so how do you feel I'm curious what happened after your poof moment if you feel comfortable please share in the comments below it could be anything you could say I just walked away and went to the bathroom or I opened my eyes and I was in the office or it could be as airy-fairy as my own poof I turned into stardust a small pale yellow cloud of dust along with golden glitter floating above the swing for a few moments the swings slowly fade until it stopped completely and the stardust that once was me spread in the air on the leaves on the ground on the swing that was it for the first episode of hell on friday I truly hope you've enjoyed this first episode subscribe on castbox to stay updated for every new episode share this page with someone that would find it interesting and answer this question in the comments below how will you experience some more friday on monday morning I will hopefully see you next monday until then take care bye
