Hello and welcome beautiful soul,
I am Mahalia Jain.
Today on this journey we will soften self-blame.
I will guide you to release your inner critic,
To come back to a place of self-love without shame or blame,
To find peace in letting go and to connect with your divine higher self.
Find a place where you can be still and supported.
And let your eyes gently close.
Take in a slow breath in through your nose.
And sigh it out through your mouth.
Repeating this again,
Breathe in and out.
And let it go.
On the next inhale.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
Feel your jaw soften.
And just let the day fall away from you.
Just for these few moments.
A kind reminder that there is nothing you need to fix here.
Nothing you need to solve.
You only need to be here exactly as you are.
Bring to mind something that you have been holding against yourself lately.
A mistake,
A moment you keep replaying,
A word you wish you hadn't said.
An interaction that doesn't align to your true self.
As you bring this to your mind.
Notice where you feel it in your body a tightness in your chest.
A heaviness in your stomach.
A tension in your throat.
Tuning into your body now.
Wherever you felt that.
Place your hand gently over that place.
And soften into that space.
Breathe into it.
No need to push it away,
Simply let it know that you are here.
As you breathe into this space,
Notice the voice that speaks to you about this moment.
The one that gives you.
The voice of shame and blame.
The inner voice that is unkind.
The one that says.
You should have known better.
You should have been better.
Imagine this voice inside yourself becoming a figure in front of you.
That figure represents this inner critic.
Perhaps it's even a younger version of you.
A protective version of you.
Trying so hard.
To keep you safe.
From ever being hurt or rejected.
Tune in.
To its energy.
Its vibration.
The vibes that it gives out.
Notice how tired it is,
How hard it's been working.
Now you can release it.
Thank it for trying to protect you.
Give it gratitude and grace.
For trying to keep you safe.
Ask it to release you.
To trust that you are capable and strong.
And maybe now as you've released them,
They sink into your arms.
They feel the lightness and the weight lifting as you no longer need to be protected.
And feel that tightness and that tension that you've been holding on to,
That blame and that shame just soften and melt away.
Now imagine a warm golden light gathering around your heart.
This is the light of your own kindness.
The same kindness that you so freely give to others.
This kindness belongs with you.
Kindness that started with you.
And with every breath in,
Let that light grow a little brighter.
And with each breath out Let it flow towards the place in your body that has been holding on to blame.
Feel that place within you of self-blame continue to soften and loosen and to let go just a little bit more.
You have done the best you could with what you knew.
And you are allowed to set this down now.
What has happened is something that you carry.
It is not something that you are.
You can let go of the blame without letting go of love.
And you deserve to feel love.
Love for yourself.
Love for others.
Let these words land in your body and repeat them silently or out loud.
I notice the voice that is hard on me.
I thank it and I don't have to obey it.
I did the best I could with what I knew.
I learn with gentleness,
Not punishment.
I forgive the version of me who was doing their best.
I am allowed to be human.
I am allowed to begin again.
My worth is not something I earn.
It is who I am.
I speak to myself the way I would speak to someone I love.
I am worthy of my own kindness.
I am more than enough,
Just as I am.
Bringing a smile to your face.
And with the last few breaths,
Feel that warm,
Golden,
Loving light Fill up every cell,
Space and place in your body.
And on the exhale release anything left.
That does not send love to your body and soul.
Whenever the critic returns,
You can place your hand on your heart and come back to this voice.
The kind voice.
The true voice.
You can stay seated in this space for as long as your heart desires.
Or when you feel ready you can bring sensations back into your body wiggling your toes,
Your fingers.
Creating movement in your head,
Your body.
And just welcoming peace and light.
Into your aura.
Gently open your eyes.
You did your best.
You are doing your best and that is more than enough.
Namaste.
