I'm Linnea,
And today we are reminded of the light within us.
In times when darkness seems to overcome,
Know that it can never dim the light within you.
The light that you are,
The light that you offer this world.
It sometimes feels easier to dwell in the darkness,
The comfort of shade and smallness.
This is not what you were meant for.
You are meant to shine with grandness.
You're here to be light,
Bringing out the god colors in the world.
God is not a secret to be kept.
You are not a secret to be kept.
When you are feeling low or encompassed by dark,
Return to this mantra of light and know that all you have to do is feel the light within you,
And it will always be stronger than any darkness.
I am here to be light.
If I learn anything at all while I am here on this planet,
It may as well be that I can share light,
Be light,
And know that we are all light.
At the source,
At the purest form,
A light force.
And when I ask the question,
Why am I here?
Why am I here relating with others?
Something deep within me knows to turn to light.
There is comfort within this,
A faith,
A knowing.
I am here to be light.
I am here to be light.
I don't have to know the ending to know that I can be simply that be.
I am meant to just be a human being.
I am here to be my most ideal,
Most divine,
Most bestest,
Brightest self.
I am here to be light.
And whatever that may be for me is the perfect formula because I am specifically created to bring that to the rest of the world.
I have a perfectly unique light to showcase,
Bringing out the God colors in the world.
I was brought into this crazy beautiful world to match its vividness,
One that is beyond my own comprehension.
And when that vividness seems to go gray,
Sometimes by choice,
Sometimes out of my control,
It doesn't mean loss or lost.
It simply means there's a bit of shade hiding the light beneath it.
Something I know I can reveal once again.
I imagine something breaking.
There may be cracks.
And when that beam of light shines through,
I grasp at the magic,
The magic that is me,
The magic that is light,
The magic that I behold.
I am here to be light when I am able to keep still for a moment with presence and notice the pure beauty surrounding me.
The truth is within me.
I become a bit softer and beam a bit brighter,
Stronger,
Fiercer.
I want to reveal that goodness,
That light,
And that truth in every waking breath on this journey.
There may be a lot of darkness I must trudge through.
I accept and I acknowledge this fact.
But without the darkness,
I wouldn't know light.
And I will no longer hide or bury that light.
I am here to be light when I allow myself to shine my light,
Live my truth,
Be my own individual self,
And be the everlasting good.
Others are brave and courageous enough to shine their light too.
And together,
We will create a bright force that is unstoppable and undeniable,
A collective of light that lights up the whole universe,
A light that is everlasting.
So yes,
I say yes because I am here to be light.
This thought alone gives me purpose at the highest level of my spiritual being and of my physical being.
I am here to be light and that is beautiful.
I encourage you to breathe in this light that you have found today and take it with you in every moment of your day,
Your week,
Your month,
Your year ahead,
And know that you can always come back to this space,
Back to this light that is yours,
Yours to keep and yours to share,
Yours to know.
