The meditation I'm going to guide you through now will enable you to see the bigger picture of a given situation or it will help you to understand your true feelings around it or to see the deeper meaning behind it.
So get yourself comfortable in your seat or maybe you're lying on a bed,
Feeling supported from beneath and settling your breath,
Watching the natural rising and falling of your belly as the breath drops in and out.
I'd like you to bring to mind now a situation that you're wanting to get some clarity on.
Imagine you're standing several feet away from the scene.
How does it want to present itself to you?
Is there perhaps someone there in the scene with you?
What's happening?
And how this situation presents itself to you might be quite literal or it might be more metaphorical or symbolic.
Just trusting your intuitive response to what you're seeing.
Okay,
So now I'd like you to imagine you're zooming out even further.
Imagine you're standing around a hundred feet away from the scene and yet you still perceive it in its fullness as if you're zooming out with a camera lens.
You might see this image change and shift slightly,
Again trusting your natural responses to what you're perceiving.
Okay,
I'm going to ask you now to zoom out even further.
So imagine you are right out there on the ozone layer looking down on this event.
And again,
You might see it shift and change,
Getting an even deeper meaning from this situation.
Allow it to show you what you need to see.
Now imagine you're zooming right out into the cosmos from a huge perspective now,
From a vast angle.
What do you see now?
How does it make you feel?
What is the meaning for you?
