Okay,
So take a moment to get comfortable on your bed or in the chair you're sitting in.
And taking a nice deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale,
Feeling your weight dropping in a little more,
Feeling yourself fully supported by the bed or the chair.
And then finally allowing the breath to settle.
And you can softly close down your eyes if that's comfortable for you.
And just watching the gentle rising and falling of your breath.
So we're going to tune in to a feeling state that is present in your body right now.
There might be a strong feeling sensation or it might be very subtle.
And if you can just mentally scanning your body noticing where there's a particular charge of energy right now.
Of emotion.
Energy in motion.
And is that charge located or gathered at a particular place in your being?
Maybe your throat,
Maybe your heart,
Or somewhere else.
Good,
So when you've located where the main charge of sensation is,
Have a sense of dropping into that area.
Even if it feels a little uncomfortable you might notice some resistance.
I want you to walk into that place inside of you and sit in it.
And now you're there,
Take a nice deep breath.
Good,
And create some space around the discomfort.
And create more space.
Good,
And give it a little more breath.
I want you to feel this sensation fully.
Allow it to be there.
And give it more space.
Good,
And more breath.
And have a sense of honouring this feeling.
It's there for a reason.
Good,
Keep allowing it to grow.
Feel it as intensely as you like.
And you can even say to this uncomfortable feeling,
Whether it be grief or fear,
Loneliness.
You can say,
For example,
Fear,
I won't fight you,
You're welcome to stay.
And keep allowing it to expand.
Good,
And now I'm going to ask you to merge with this feeling.
Like there's no separation between yourself and it.
And keep merging so you and the feeling become one.
Until you're this vibrating field of energy,
Ocean-like,
Infinite.
Just energy.
Raw energy.
Then you may start to experience the charge of this feeling dissolving somewhat.
Or shifting in its resonance.
And intensity.
And intensity.
And it's this act of allowing that dissolves the intensity of the feeling because as we know,
What we resist persists.
And by allowing it,
It loses its power over you.
And when we meet the feeling with love,
We integrate it.
And we become whole,
We come home to the fullness of ourself.
Every part of you is welcome.
And now I'd like you to do a little visual,
A visualisation.
Imagine there is a rice paper screen in front of you.
And projected onto this screen is an image,
It might be symbolic or metaphorical or quite literal.
Projected is an image that represents the event or whatever the feeling was about for you.
And allow it to present itself to you in whatever form it wants to,
Just receive it.
And you'll get the meaning intuitively or you'll understand what it has to teach you.
And now when you are ready,
I want you to walk through this rice paper screen,
Break through to the other side,
To the unknown.
And on the other side you might find this infinite,
Bright or golden light or whatever you see.
Again,
Allow it to present itself to you in whatever form it wants to.
And into that light,
Into that expansive space,
Just let yourself fall,
Let yourself go.
And now take some deep breaths,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Bringing yourself back into your body,
Into awareness.
And back into the room.
And set now.
