Hello,
This gratitude meditation is designed to help you to invite gratitude into your life and to feel happier and more positive.
To begin,
Get into a comfortable position,
Either sitting down or laying down.
Gently close your eyes.
Take three deep breaths and notice the flow of the air entering your body.
Notice the movement in your chest and your stomach.
Take a deep breath in and out.
In and out.
Now allow your breathing to return to a comfortable rhythm.
It's important to pause for a moment and to notice and appreciate the things that you often take for granted,
Like having a place to live,
Having food to eat,
Clean water to drink,
Friends,
Family,
And even the ability to access the internet for this meditation.
Feeling grateful for your ability to take these deep breaths or feeling grateful for your ears that allow you to listen to my voice right now.
I'm going to repeat some positive statements of gratitude.
Allow every word to enter your mind and body.
Allow the feeling of gratitude to cover you with every affirmation that I say.
I am grateful for my life.
I am grateful for my home.
I am grateful for my bed.
I am grateful for warmth.
I am grateful for food to eat.
I am grateful for water to drink.
