Hello and welcome.
My name is Lorena and today I'll guide you through a meditation for peaceful surrender.
This is a moment for you to slow down.
For you to relax your body,
Quiet your mind and gently let go of anything you might be holding on to.
You don't need to have all the answers right now.
Simply give yourself permission to breathe,
Rest and be present.
We will use gentle breathing,
Relaxation and visualization to help you release tension,
Let go of control and find a deeper sense of calm.
Find a comfortable position.
You can sit or lie down.
Let your hands rest naturally.
Soften your shoulders.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And slowly breathe out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in.
And gently breathing out One more time,
Take a slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Allow your body to soften.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing you need to solve.
Just allow yourself to be here fully in this moment.
Begin by noticing your breath.
Don't try to change it.
Just notice the air coming in and going out.
Notice the gentle movement of your chest and your stomach.
Now take a slow breath in through your nose.
Inhale,
2,
3,
4.
And slowly breathe out through your mouth.
Exhale,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Again,
Breathe in,
2,
3,
4.
And breathe out,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
One more time,
Slowly breathing in.
And gently breathing out Now allow your breathing to return to a comfortable,
Natural rhythm.
With every breath out.
Feel yourself settling a little deeper.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing you need to show off.
Nothing you need to change.
Just allow yourself to be here in this moment.
Now bring your attention to the top of your head.
Imagine a gentle feeling of warmth beginning there.
Allow your forehead to soften.
Relax this space around your eyes.
Let your cheeks become soft.
Relax your jaw.
If your teeth are touching,
Allow a little space between them.
Let your tongue rest gently.
Bring that feeling of relaxation down into your neck.
And into your shoulders.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Let your shoulders drop.
Imagine the weight you've been carrying beginning to leave your body.
Let your shoulders soften.
Relax your arms.
Relax your elbows.
Relax your hands.
And all the way down to your fingertips.
Now bring your attention to your chest.
Notice gently rising as you breathe in.
And falling as you breathe out.
Allow your stomach to soften.
There is nothing to hold.
Just let go.
Let the feeling of relaxation travel down through your hips.
Your thighs.
Your knees.
Your lower legs.
Your ankles.
And your feet.
Relax each of your toes.
Feel the weight of your whole body.
Notice the surface beneath you supporting you.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now.
You can simply rest.
Now return your attention to your breathing.
You're going to slow the breath again.
Breathe in gently through your nose for four,
3,
2,
1 and breathe out slowly for 6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1 again breathing in two,
Three,
Four,
And breathing out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
This time,
As you breathe in,
Quietly think.
I am here now.
And as you breathe out,
I let go.
Breathing in,
I am here now.
Breathing out,
I let go.
Again.
I am here.
And let go.
Allow your breath to find its own natural rhythm.
Notice something simple.
You don't have to control every breath.
Your body already knows what to do.
The breath comes.
And the breath goes.
Let this be a gentle reminder.
Some things can simply happen.
Some things can simply pass.
And some things can be released.
Now,
In your mind,
Imagine yourself in a beautiful and peaceful place.
Picture yourself standing beside a quiet river.
The water is clear.
And move in slowly.
The air feels warm and comfortable against your skin.
Perhaps you can hear the gentle sound of the water.
Maybe you can hear birds somewhere in the distance.
Or leaves moving softly in the breeze.
There is nothing you need to do here.
You are safe.
You are calm.
Just watch the water move.
Notice how the river keeps flowing.
It doesn't rush.
It doesn't stop.
It simply moves gently and naturally.
Now imagine a few small leaves resting beside you.
Each leaf can carry something away.
A worry,
A fear.
A thought that keeps coming back.
A situation you wish you could control.
Maybe something from your past.
Or something about the future.
You don't need to search for anything.
Simply notice what comes into your mind.
And when something appears.
Imagine gently placing it onto one of the leaves.
Place the leaf onto the water.
And watch.
The river begins to carry it away.
Slowly.
Gently.
Further and further away.
You don't need to push it away.
The river will carry it for you.
Just watch it becomes smaller and smaller.
Until it disappears from view.
Maybe another thought appears.
Something you have been trying to work out.
Something you wish had happened differently?
Something you're waiting for something you don't yet have an answer to.
Place it gently onto another leaf.
And let it go.
Watch the water carried it away.
You're not saying that it doesn't matter.
You are simply choosing not to carry it right now.
You can quietly say to yourself I can put this down.
And breathe.
I can put this down.
If something else comes into your mind?
Place that onto another leaf.
No judgement.
No struggle.
Just notice it.
Place it down and let it float away.
Now look at the river again.
Notice what happens when the water reaches the stone.
It doesn't fight the stone.
It simply moves around it.
When the path changes,
The water changes with it.
And then we continue.
Imagine allowing yourself to become a little more like this river.
You can move with change.
You can meet things as they come.
You don't need to know what is around every corner.
You don't need to control every part of the journey.
Right now,
You only need to be here.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long breath out.
Now allow the image of the river to slowly fade.
Bring your attention back to your body.
Back to the gentle movement of your breath.
As you rest here,
Repeat these words silent in your mind.
For this moment I let go.
I release what I cannot control.
I don't need every answer right now.
I give myself permission to rest.
I trust myself to face what comes next.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine your voice becoming lighter.
Peaceful surrender doesn't mean giving up.
It means allowing yourself to stop fighting what you cannot change.
It means knowing when to act.
And knowing when to let go.
It means allowing yourself to rest.
Even when everything is not yet clear.
Think of something you have been holding tightly.
You don't need to see every detail.
Just notice the feeling of holding on to it.
Imagine that you're holding it gently between your hands.
Notice your hands holding it.
And now slowly imagine opening your hands.
You don't need to throw it away.
You don't need to force anything.
Simply stop gripping it.
Let your hands remain open.
Take a breath in.
And breathe out.
Quietly say to yourself What I can change,
I will face with calm.
But I cannot change,
I release.
I choose peace in this moment.
Feel your body resting beneath you.
Notice how much softer your body can feel when you stop holding everything so tightly.
Now there is nothing you need to repeat,
Nothing you need to imagine.
Nothing you need to achieve.
Just breathe.
Feel the air coming in.
And going out.
Allow your body to become completely still.
Feel your face relaxed.
Your shoulders soft.
Your hands resting.
Your legs heavy.
You're breathing easy.
You are here.
You are supported.
You are allowed to rest.
Stay here for a few quiet moments.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to chase.
Nothing to hold.
Just this breath,
Just this moment.
And now very gently begin to bring your attention back to your body.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice the feeling of your clothes against your skin.
Notice the temperature of the air.
Take a deeper breath in through your nose.
2,
3,
4 And slowly breathe out through your mouth.
2,
3,
4,
5,
6 Take another full breath in.
And a long,
Gentle breath out.
Begin to move your fingers.
Move your toes.
Maybe gently roll your shoulders.
Allow small movements to return to your body.
Before you open your eyes.
Take one final moment for yourself.
Remember,
You don't have to control everything to move forward.
You don't need to know exactly how everything will happen.
And you don't need to have all the answers right now.
You can meet life as it comes.
One breath at a time.
One step at a time.
Take one final slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Let go of anything you no longer need to carry with you.
When you're ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Take your time.
Return to the room slowly.
Carry this feeling of calm with you.
And remember.
Peace doesn't always come from finding all the answers.
Sometimes peace begins when you allow yourself to let go.
My name is Lorena and it has been a pleasure guiding you through this meditation.
May you carry this feeling of peace with you.
Remembering that whenever life feels heavy,
You can always return to your breath.
Return to the present moment.
And gently let go.
Thank you for being here.
