Find a comfortable position now,
Lying down if you can or seated somewhere.
You can fully let go.
Close your eyes gently Just for a moment.
Arrive here.
Bite it through the die.
Whatever it held.
The Demands.
Decisions.
The moments of tension or worry.
Or overwhelmed.
You made it through.
And now?
For the next.
20 minutes or so.
There's nowhere else to be.
Is nothing.
You need to fix.
There's nothing.
You need to figure it out.
Or hold together.
But I want to ask you something.
Even though you're mined,
I know that.
And even though some parts of you.
Understand that you're here,
That you're okay.
And that the day is done.
Does your body know it?
Because there's a difference.
Your mind can tell itself a story about being fine.
But your body keeps its own records.
Still feels that tight deadline.
In a difficult conversation.
Or the moment that your heart raced and your breath went shallow and your shoulders.
.
.
Climbed up towards your ears.
Unless something specifically tells your nervous system.
That the threat has passed.
Sometimes it stays on guard.
Your shoulder's still braced.
Your jaw's still tight.
Your breath,
Shallow.
And the heart quietly waiting for the next thing.
And not because they're anything is wrong.
It's just.
.
.
Nobody gave your body the all clear.
And so?
That's what this meditation is for.
We're going to speak to your nervous system.
And the only language it understands.
Not reassuring words or positive thinking.
But the actual physical signals of safety.
Slow breath.
Soft muscles.
Open Posture.
Boop.
Stillness.
As something else too.
Because.
.
.
The date,
The physiology.
Beneath the nervous system.
And the stress response.
And all the mechanics of a body.
Has been trying.
Protect you.
There is a presence.
I love.
Something that has been holding you.
Through every difficult moment of your life.
And is holding you.
Right now.
By the time we finish,
Your body will know something it may have forgotten.
So you are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe.
Let's begin.
Take your first slow breath in through your nose.
And breathe out through your mouth.
Love.
And slow.
And begin.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
And just for a moment,
Notice.
What your body is doing.
Not the judges.
Just.
.
.
Troopser.
Is your jaw holding?
Are your teeth touching or clenched?
Are your shoulders up near your ears?
Are your hands curled tight?
Is your breath high in your chest,
Shallow and quick?
Crystallis.
Your body has been trying to protect you.
It has been doing exactly.
.
.
What it was designed to do.
And now we're going to gently,
Kindly,
Let it know.
You made it.
The day is done.
And your body can rest now.
Praise Him.
As you breathe out.
Let your draw go.
Just a little.
Breathe in.
And as you breathe out.
.
.
Let your shoulders drop.
Further than feels natural.
Crazy.
And as you breathe out.
.
.
Let your hands uncurl.
Palms turning gently upward.
In a gesture.
Of receiving.
Rather than embracing it.
You're not forcing anything.
You're simply giving your body.
Permission.
Permission.
It has been waiting.
For all.
All time.
Your nervous system has a language.
And the most powerful signal in that language is slow,
Extended.
Exile.
Every time you're out-breath is longer than you're in-breath.
You send a direct message to the part of your brain that controls your stress response.
The message is simple.
It is over.
You are safe.
You can rest.
So let's speak that language now.
Breathe in slowly through your nose.
For a count of four.
What?
Two.
It's great.
Fall.
And breathe out through your mouth slowly.
For a count of seven.
One.
Two.
Three.
Fall.
Fine.
Six.
Seven.
And again,
Breathe in.
Two.
Three.
Four.
And breathe out,
Letting it be the longest breath.
Exiled all die.
One.
Two.
Three.
Fall.
Five.
Six.
Sir?
One more time.
Breathe in.
Two.
Free.
And breathe out all the way.
Until your lungs are completely empty.
1 2 Spray.
Fall.
Six.
Now let the breath return to its own rhythm.
A little slower and deeper and relaxed.
Than before.
The breath of someone who knows they're safe.
And now we move through your body.
Not to fix or force anything.
Simply to visit each part.
And offer it the same message.
Your breath has just been sending.
You are safe here.
You can let go here.
The alarm has been turned off.
Your fate first.
Feels them.
D'oh.
And heavy.
I have carried you all day.
Feel them soften now.
Toes uncurling.
Souls releasing to the surface beneath you.
You are safe.
Calves and shins.
All the readiness stored in legs.
That we're prepared to run.
Now feel that readiness beginning to dissolve.
Muscle softening.
Urgently driving away.
You are safe.
Size.
Your hips.
Growing heavier.
With every breath.
Sinking into the surface.
Beneath you.
No longer needing to be ready.
It was you.
A safe.
You're barely.
.
.
Soften it now.
Completely.
That it round outwards is your breath.
Instead of being held in.
Your body is beginning to remember that the emergency is over.
That it can return to the quiet work of simply being.
You are safe.
Your chest.
Your heart.
Feel it beating.
Steady.
Faithful.
Respect.
Face your awareness there.
Feel it beginning to slow.
Settling beating with little more ease than before.
Oh.
Safe.
Your shoulders.
Let them drop.
All the way.
The weight of what you carry.
The responsibilities.
The mental load.
The things left undone.
You don't have to carry any of it in this moment.
Put it down.
You are safe.
Your arms.
Heavy and warm.
Your hands.
Open.
And still.
Nothing to gripe.
Nothing to hold on to.
Simply.
Saving.
Are safe.
Your neck,
Releasing.
Your draw.
Hanging loose.
Your face.
Completely.
Still.
The face of someone.
At rest.
You suck.
Safe.
And now,
I want to offer you something beyond the body.
Because safety is not only a physical state.
It is also a spiritual one.
There is a presence.
That has been with you.
Through every difficult thing.
You've ever faced.
Through every moment of fear and uncertainty and overwhelm.
A presence that did not leave when things got hard.
There is a never left.
That is right here now in this stillness.
You might call it God.
You might call it love.
You might call it.
.
.
The universe.
Or your higher self.
Or simply the something that holds everything together.
When you feel like you're falling apart.
Whatever you name it.
Feel it now.
Not as an idea.
As it felt since.
Co-ops A presence.
The knowing.
Of being held.
By something.
That loves you.
Unconditionally.
And that it's not going.
Anywhere.
Because safety is not just the absence of threat.
It is the presence.
Love.
And love.
Real unconditional unwavering love It's the deepest safety signal.
Your whole being.
Can receive.
And it is the truth.
You are not alone.
In this body.
There is a love.
That always has known you.
And it's always there for you.
And always will be.
You are safe.
Your health.
And you are so loved.
More than you can comprehend.
Now.
Here are some words to anchor.
What your body and your soul are learning right now.
Receive these words gently.
Letting them land not just in your mind.
But in yourselves and in your whole being.
I teach my body now to rest.
To suffer.
And release.
The alarm has passed.
The day is done.
I claim my right to peace.
I am safe within this skin.
I am safe within this breath.
I am held by something greater.
Just that.
That knows me best.
My nervous system settles now.
My muscles learn to yield.
Every cell inside this body.
Knows that it is held.
I release the bracing posture.
Of a life lived in a vote.
I receive the peace that's waiting.
I receive.
Underneath the hurt.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I have always been.
Love has always been right here.
And love will always remain.
And so it is.
Take a moment to simply be here.
Noticing the stillness in your body.
The difference between how you arrived and how you are now.
This is not something I gave you.
This is something that your body already knew how to do.
And you simply gave it permission.
And that permission is available to you at any moment.
With a long,
Slow exhale.
Shoulders dropped.
Drone's released.
Palms open.
A quiet whisper to your nervous system.
I am safe.
Spoken not to your mind,
But to your body.
The language it understands.
Your body is not your enemy.
It has simply been trying to protect you.
Use the information at hand.
And now it has new information.
That you are safe.
That you are held.
And the love that holds you has never once needed.
I'm racing.
Take a gentle stretch if you need to.
To know.
That you are safe.
You are safe.
You are safe.
You
