This powerful guided meditation is designed to help you break free from negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs that may have been plaguing you for quite some time.
Our thought patterns are like habits where the repeated thoughts create a superhighway in the brain.
This can be positive or negative.
So this is about eliminating the negative ones and empowering you with positive beliefs.
Listen to this daily for at least two weeks for best results.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.
Take a moment to settle in.
Feel your body being supported by the chair,
Bed or floor beneath you.
Notice how it holds you completely,
Allowing you to let go and relax.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in and gently exhale.
As you breathe out feel any stress or tension leaving your body.
Let's take another slow deep breath in.
Hold and release.
Sinking deeper into the comfort and ease.
And one last time breathe in,
Hold and breathe out.
Allow yourself a moment to adjust your position if needed,
Ensuring that you're fully comfortable.
Let your body soften.
As you settle in notice areas of support under you from your head to your feet.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into this support as if you're being cradled by the surface beneath you.
Now notice how your muscles have softened.
Feel the relaxation moving through your body,
Starting at the top of your head and gently spreading down your face,
Softening your eyes,
Your jaw and your neck.
Allow your shoulders to drop,
Releasing any tension you may have been holding there.
Feel the warmth of relaxation moving down your arms all the way to your fingertips.
Your chest is open and relaxed.
Your breath flows easily.
With each exhale you can feel your back softening,
Releasing all tension in the muscles along your spine.
Let this wave of relaxation flow down through your stomach,
Your hips and your legs.
Feel your thighs and your knees relax.
Let this sensation continue down through your calves,
Ankles and all the way to your feet.
Your entire body is now relaxed,
Supported and at ease.
Now that your body is relaxed let's take your mind into a deeper state of calm.
Imagine yourself at the top of a beautiful staircase.
With each step we descend you will feel more relaxed and more peaceful and more in tune with yourself.
As I count down from 10 to 1 allow your mind and body to sink deeper into this calm state.
At the top of the staircase take the first step down.

Beginning to relax.

Deeper letting go of any remaining tension.

Feeling calm wash over you.

Moving down down deeper into relaxation.

Releasing all thoughts and worries.

Halfway down now,
Your mind becoming clearer.

Your body is fully relaxed,
Your mind calm.

Descending deeper in to stillness.

Almost at the bottom feeling safe and peaceful.

Fully relaxed,
Calm and centered.
Now let your mind be still for a moment,
Simply enjoying this deep sense of peace.
As we move deeper into this relaxed state imagine now that you're in a beautiful peaceful garden.
The air is warm and gentle and the breeze flows around you.
You feel completely safe,
Surrounded by nature and this space is yours alone.
Take a few moments to breathe in this peaceful atmosphere.
Notice the colors,
The scents and the sounds of this garden.
It is a place of pure calm and tranquility.
Now in this relaxed and peaceful state imagine your mind as a powerful tool,
A computer ready for reprogramming and positive change.
Visualize your mind as a beautiful intricate system,
A computer that sometimes needs updating to function at its best.
You are the technician ready to upgrade your mind.
Imagine that you have a special tool,
A torch that emits a soothing blue light.
This blue light has healing properties and calming properties.
As you shine it onto different areas of your mind it brings calm,
Clarity and healing.
Let's begin by shining this blue light on the parts of your mind that has been holding on to anxiety,
Stress or negative patterns.
As the blue light touches these areas,
See them and feel them soften,
Dissolve and fade away.
Notice any fear or tension disappearing,
Replaced by a deep sense of peace.
As you continue shining the blue light,
Allowing it to flow through every part of your mind,
Clearing away old unhelpful patterns and thoughts,
Wherever the blue light touches calmness spreads and your mind becomes clear,
Open and ready for positive change.
Now let's install new empowering thought patterns.
Now we know that when we have a thought pattern,
A repeated thought pattern,
These become habits because they're repeated so often that it's like a superhighway.
A very strong pattern has been laid down and the way to overcome this is not to focus on that but to redirect it.
So now we're going to fix that quickly and easily.
We're going to put up some roadblocks.
Imagine placing roadblocks where the old negative thoughts used to be.
These roadblocks gently redirect your thoughts away.
So we put a roadblock in place and a detour sign.
These signs gently guide your thoughts into a new direction.
You don't need to struggle or force anything.
The roadblocks naturally reroute your thoughts towards more positive helpful patterns.
Your detour signs are guiding your thoughts towards areas of opportunity,
Positivity and potential.
Visualise your thoughts flowing easily and effortlessly along these new pathways towards a brighter more empowering way of thinking.
And these new thought patterns are the ones that get stronger.
These are the highways in your mind that get thicker,
Stronger and more powerful.
Your thoughts shift and you feel a growing sense of confidence and belief in yourself.
You are perfect just the way you are.
You were created the way you are for a reason and you have everything you need to thrive.
The universe is on your side.
The universe is cheering for your success.
You have let go of old survival thinking.
You no longer need it.
Now repeat these affirmations silently to yourself.
I am powerful.
I am capable.
I am aligned with my highest potential.
I see opportunities everywhere.
I am open to growth and expansion.
I trust the process of my life.
