This is a five-minute golden light calming journey to begin or end your day.

This guided meditation journey invites you to gently connect with your body through breath and awareness.
As you scan from head to toe,
You'll release tension and invite in a soft golden light that soothes,
Heals,
And restores balance.
The practice ends with a gratitude for your body and the life force energy within,
Leaving you grounded,
Calm,
And filled with peace.
I invite you to close your eyes and find a comfortable position.
Take a deep,
Calming breath in and slowly release.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale fully.
Now gently place your hand over your heart.
Feel the warmth beneath your palm.
Notice the steady rhythm of your heartbeat,
Your life force energy moving within you.
Begin to scan your body with your awareness,
Starting at the crown of your head,
Moving slowly down through your face and your neck,
Through your shoulders and arms,
Your back and chest,
Your abdomen,
Your hips and legs,
And all the way down to your feet.
As you scan,
Simply notice.
Notice any sensations,
Areas of ease,
Or places that may feel heavy or tense.
There is no need to change anything.
Just be present with your body as it is.
Now imagine a soft golden light above your head.
With your next inhale,
See this golden light begin to flow gently into the crown of your head,
Filling your mind with calm and clarity.
As you breathe,
This golden light moves slowly down into your neck and shoulders,
Easing away tension and bringing warmth and peace.
With each breath,
It flows further,
Down your back,
Your chest and arms,
Wrapping you in comfort and light.
The golden light continues downward into your abdomen,
Your hips and legs,
Softening every muscle and every cell.
Finally,
It reaches your feet,
Grounding you gently to the earth.
Your whole body is now bathed in golden light.
Feel this light shimmering through you,
Filling you with life,
Strength and peace.
In this stillness,
Listen deeply,
Remembering you are life itself,
And the life force energy flows through you with every breath.
Take a moment to offer gratitude to your body for carrying you,
For breathing and for simply being alive.
And offer gratitude to the golden light for bringing you balance,
Healing and calm.
Take one more breath in,
And let the golden light expand fully within you,
And release.
And when you feel ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
And when it feels right,
Slowly open your eyes,
Carrying this golden calm with you into the rest of your day or night.
