Poodle Song is a true story. One day in the woods, I was following my giant black Royal Standard Poodle (no pom-poms) named Hakuna. I called out to him, "Hakuna, I love you so much! If I'd be your Mary would you be my lamb?" And then I thought: "That would make a great song about my beloved carpeted canine!"
