Welcome to this space where nothing needs to be explained or polished.
Inspired by the words of Franz Kafka,
We step into a moment of raw truth.
Here you are not a problem to fix,
A soul to edit,
Or a spirit to shrink.
You are invited just to be who you are,
Whole,
Wild,
And unfinished.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Now,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let your body begin to settle,
And take a deep breath in through your nose,
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Let's begin.
Bring awareness to your body,
This honest vessel that holds so much.
Begin at the crown of your head.
Notice the sensations,
Maybe energy,
Stillness,
Tingles,
Or warmth.
There's no need to label,
Just witness.
Let that awareness flow to your face.
Your forehead,
Cheeks,
Jaw.
Are you holding back?
Invite softness.
Move down to your shoulders.
Do they carry tension,
Expectations,
Performance?
Let your breath melt them gently.
Feel your arms,
Hands,
And fingertips,
Extensions of your creativity and care.
Now bring awareness to your chest,
Your heart space.
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
The pulse of being.
Let your inhale expand your ribcage,
And your exhale draw you closer to your truth.
Continue down to your belly,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
All the way to your feet,
Solid,
Grounded,
Enough.
Let the earth hold you fully,
Exactly as you are.
Let Kafka's words rise within like a spark in the dark.
Don't bend.
Don't water it down.
Don't try to make it logical.
Don't edit your own soul.
Let these words echo in the spaciousness of your mind.
Repeat them quietly,
Slowly.
Feel their weight.
Feel their wildness.
Let the quotes settle in your chest.
What does it stir in you?
Where in your life have you been asked to shrink?
To bend.
To edit your own aliveness to make others comfortable.
Now gently turn inward with compassionate curiosity.
Each question is a doorway.
What parts of me have I been asked to soften or hide?
Let the images come,
The memories,
The truth.
What would it feel like to take up space,
Unfiltered,
Fully expressed?
Where in your life do you long to stop making sense and start making art?
What aspects of your life have you been asked to change?
What parts of my being feel too loud,
Too strange,
Too much,
And yet most alive?
Breathe into those parts.
Let them rise.
Let them speak.
How have I allowed my soul to show up unedited today?
Let your inner voice respond,
Not with logic,
But with feeling.
Allow these affirmations to move through you like a current of remembering.
Repeat silently or whisper them gently.
I am not here to be understood.
I am here to be true.
I am not here to be understood.
Honor the rawness,
The edge,
The full expression of my being.
I release the need to explain who I am.
I trust the rhythm of my own soul.
Let them land not just in your mind,
But in your breath,
Your body,
Your bones.
I am not here to be understood.
Begin to return to the surface of your awareness.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath again.
The support of the ground beneath you.
Take a deep,
Steady inhale.
And exhale slowly,
Grounding into this unedited moment.
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
And as you're ready,
Gently float your eyes open.
Carry this truth with you.
You are not here to shrink.
You are not here to explain.
You are not here to fit someone else's frame.
You are the original.
The wild draft.
The masterpiece that needs no revision.
Thank you for sharing this moment of fierce honesty with yourself.
Until next time,
Keep showing up as you.
