Ho'oponopono is a Hawaiin prayer of forgiveness. I created the guided meditation as a guide to assist you with an idea on how to get started using this prayer and on your way to forgiveness. The statements are repeated in three iterations, however, once you practice this you can say the statements as many times as you wish.

Transcript

Welcome to this Ho'oponopono meditation and exercise.

We will begin by getting comfortable in a seated position or lying down.

And place your palms up on your thighs,

Or if you choose,

Take your right hand and hold it to your heart center.

And bring your awareness to your heart center.

We're going to slow down the breathing with four counts inhale and four counts exhale.

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And follow this breathing pattern throughout this meditation.

Now as your awareness is at your heart center,

Let's call up the person,

Place,

Thing,

Or idea,

Or concept,

Whatever it is that you're wanting to forgive.

Let's call it up,

Call the energy up and place it in front of you.

And with your minds eye,

You will keep your attention and awareness at your heart and onto whatever the energy is.

As you silently recite these words,

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

Thank you,

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you,

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you,

I love you.

Now you can begin to bring the awareness back into your body by wiggling your fingers.

And thank yourself for showing up today for this practice and send gratitude to all that has been forgiven.

When you are ready,

You may open your eyes.

Thank you.

Gratitude,

Peace and blessings.

Thank you. This is a perfect match for me to use multiple times in my day to to practice a new 'pause and forgive my forgetfulness', to be aware and present more often, so as to follow my unconscious patterns less and less over time. Namaste
