This meditation is an invitation to come home to your body.
An invitation to breathe deeply and rest into the steady support of the earth.
Through breath and gentle awareness,
We'll open the heart in gratitude.
I'll guide you to soften,
Root,
And reconnect with the quiet rhythm that holds all of life.
Take a moment now to settle into your body.
Let your sit bones land heavy into the support beneath you.
Invite your spine to lengthen,
The crown of your head lifting towards the sky.
Let your shoulders soften,
Your jaw relax,
And feel the rhythm of your heart.
Notice that you are a breathing being.
Invite your attention to follow the sensation of breath within your body.
Ask your attention to be warm,
Gentle,
And curious.
When your attention is drawn elsewhere,
Thank it for its efforts to support your well-being by drawing your awareness to what it thinks is most important.
Then,
With kindness,
Invite your attention to return.
Follow your breath in.
Notice that you are supported by the earth.
Let yourself sink deep into the weight of your body.
Invite softness into your pelvic floor and belly as you breathe in.
Breathing out,
Imagine roots descending from the base of your spine into the earth.
Breathe in softness.
Breathe out root.
Breathe in expand.
Breathe out,
Send your roots deeper.
Continue to follow the flow of your breath.
Rest into the depths of the Great Mother.
Let her hold you,
Support you,
Nurture you.
Invite your attention to your heartbeat.
Notice its rhythm and quality.
Listen,
Feel,
And breathe.
Invite your breath to deepen beyond the belly,
Moving up into the heart and the chest.
Releasing back into the earth.
Breathing in,
Fill from the pelvic floor up into the chest.
Empty out from the chest to the pelvic floor.
Expand pelvic floor,
Belly,
Ribcage,
Chest.
Empty chest,
Ribcage,
Belly,
Pelvic floor.
Again,
Expand pelvic floor,
Belly,
Ribcage,
Chest.
Empty chest,
Ribcage,
Belly,
Pelvic floor.
Follow this flowing breath like a wave through the body,
Drawing energy up from the earth into the heart.
Exhale,
Let breath empty like water flowing into the root system below you.
In.
Expand.
As you breathe here,
Cultivate a sense of gratitude within your heart space.
Let your breath be a pump,
Filling with love from the earth and transmitting gratitude and love back out through your body into the space around you.
Gratitude for the earth,
Your breath,
For the people and relationships in it.
Stay present with a feeling of gratitude as you breathe.
Welcome some of this gratitude into your own heart,
To yourself.

To be present and connect.
