Welcome here.
My name is Leah Fay,
And the meditation I'm offering today is a deepening of trust.
Deepening of trust in ourselves.
And the Earth that holds us,
And a greater power that guides us.
We'll also be gently working with the under layers of fear that might attempt to keep us small.
Especially the fear of standing in our own strength.
Our own power.
And stepping more fully into our authenticity.
Will tend a connection to our deep intuition,
Our embodied wisdom.
Our capacity for trust in yourself and in life.
And deepen into the light and the gifts that we're here to bring to the world.
Sharing a quote by Marianna Williamson.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light,
Not our darkness,
That frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant,
Gorgeous,
Talented,
And fabulous?
Actually.
Who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
As we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
Now let's drop into our bodies now.
Letting your breath settle.
I'm just arriving here.
Noticing.
Where you've come to land.
Your posture.
The weight of your body.
Noticing everything without judgment.
Simply bringing your attention.
To what is here.
Without trying to change anything just yet.
Notice how your breath is moving.
Notice the sensations that are alive with you.
And feel the movement.
Of your breath in your body.
Allow yourself to rest back.
Into your seat.
Into this moment.
To soften your jaw.
On your shoulders.
Soften any grasping in the mind.
Allowing presence.
To be uncovered.
Slowly.
.
.
Allowing your breath to deepen.
Welcoming softness into your pelvic floor and belly and letting the breath move deep into the base of your body and then slowly rise through the ribcage up into the chest.
And release from the top down.
Like your body is a vessel filling with prana.
Pouring in like water,
Expanding as you breathe in.
Softening as you breathe out.
Follow this gentle sensation of expansion.
And contraction.
Like a wave on the ocean.
As you breathe here.
Rest a little deeper.
Into the support beneath you.
Softening into your seat.
And feeling the earth.
Below the foundation of the building you're in.
Feel the solidity.
Of Mother Earth.
Holding all of us.
Sense the immensity of the Earth.
Her capacity to hold.
And stability.
But she is allow yourself to soften even more into.
.
.
This support.
Begin to notice.
What else is here?
In your heart.
And in your mind.
Observe your thoughts.
And the emotions.
Without judgment.
Simply allowing them to be even if you notice resistance to what you feel.
Welcome even the resistance.
Welcome yourself as you are.
Continuing to breathe feeling the support below you and see if you can feel a sense of trust.
That the earth is holding you.
Trust that you are supported.
What is that?
Trust.
Feel like in your body.
Breathe with it for a few moments now.
Allow your mind or a body memory.
To bring in a time when you felt fear.
Fear of being fully yourself.
Fear of being seen.
Perhaps a fear of holding.
And just notice the sensation.
Of this fear in your body.
Can you feel or sense the origin of this fear?
Does it belong to you?
In this lifetime.
Did you inherit it?
Is it ancestral?
Bring your attention back to the sensation.
Of the earth holding you.
And offer this fear to the Earth.
Knowing the earth is incredible at alchemizing,
Composting,
Transforming,
Challenging energy into growth.
Offer the fear.
And allow her to hold you.
Breathing deeply,
Steadily.
With the Earth.
With her support.
And slowly bring your awareness.
To where it trusts.
Already exists.
In your body.
In your lived experience.
Where do you trust in yourself?
When?
Have you trusted fully?
In yourself.
And this sense of being held and supported by something greater than you.
And let these memories be felt in your body.
Trusting in yourself and the wisdom in your body.
Trusting you are held.
And support it.
On something greater than you.
Is guiding.
And helping you to heal.
To grow.
And evolved.
Breathe with this feeling of trust and deep holding Imagine.
Who you would be.
Of this trust.
Was part of every cell and fiber of your being.
Ever present.
Who could you be?
If you are unafraid to stand in your beauty.
In your wisdom.
Who would you be?
If you share your gifts without shame.
Who would you be?
If you trusted the wisdom that flows within you.
Let yourself feel who you are becoming.
As you cultivate.
This trust.
And let your heart fill with gratitude.
As you anchor.
And grow into.
Who you already are.
Underneath.
The layers of fear.
And learned habits.
That have tried to keep you small for safety.
And ask your higher self.
Do I need these contracts?
Of staying in smallness.
For safety.
And if the answer is no.
Imagine.
Feel.
Releasing yourself.
Revoking.
Any contracts or vows.
Made to keep you safe.
Release them to the earth.
Let them blow free in the wind.
As you rise into your own becoming.
On the rest.
Rest in this sense of trust trust in self.
Trust that you are held,
Guided,
And supported.
Trust in your ability to listen and respond.
Let every cell of your body remember deep unshakable.
Trust.
And inner.
Knowing.
And slowly.
.
.
Deepening your breath.
Coming home.
Coming home.
To every cell of your body.
Coming home to this grace and strength.
In this deep inner knowing.
The gift that you have been given this one life The world needs you.
Needs your light,
Your joy,
And your gifts.
So,
Thank you.
Thank you for liberating yourself from your fear.
Every day when you face this fear.
You are liberating yourself and liberating others.
Deepening your breath.
Inviting a little movement in your body,
Be a stretch and a yawn.
As you come back.
My name is Leah Fay.
And it has truly been an honor to guide your practice today.
Thank you so much for being here.
