Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.
Let's get in the flow.
I thought I was going away for a couple of days,
Right?
And it was going to be relaxing and renewing of my spirit.
I thought it was going to be this great,
You know.
But then,
Did you ever have a period of time,
However long that is actually,
I mean I say a period of time,
But it's so dramatic.
But do you ever have just like a few of those moments where you feel like that no matter how you decide something,
That it's wrong.
Whether it's wrong to you,
It's wrong to everybody else,
And you know that you've made poor choices,
Right?
It's like the confluence of like all the icky parts of me coming together and taking over my emotions.
That's what it felt like.
I know that sounds really dramatic.
It wasn't quite as dramatic as I just sort of said it,
But yeah,
It was there,
Right?
It's weird.
It's a weird feeling.
That's what it's been like for me these past couple of days.
It's really strange.
And I really don't know why I allow myself to go down that rabbit hole.
It's like ridiculous.
Ridiculous that I allow myself to go down the rabbit hole,
Right?
So here are my thoughts because you know I can't just have an emotion and not figure it all out.
You know that's kind of in my brain.
That's kind of how I roll.
Number one,
Here's the number one thought.
Okay,
So all of a sudden now Mercury is direct.
So Mercury,
If you're into astrology,
I know about this much of it,
But I know that some of the planets,
What they mean,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Right?
Okay,
So I can tell you this.
Pluto is now direct after being retrograde since like April.
And Pluto is the planet of truth and transformation.
So while it was retrograde,
We had a lot of sort of self discovery and those sort of like you look into your shadow self,
Which I mean like,
You know,
Our dark parts because we all have that,
Right?
We all have the little dark part in there,
Right?
So but now is the time to because Pluto is now direct,
Now is the time to stop with the reflection and take action on these changes that we've wanted so,
So long,
Right?
We can move into the light instead of looking at all of our dark shadow cells,
Which we know are there,
You know,
Like we can move into the light and change those things,
Right?
Isn't that beautiful?
I love that.

Okay.
So the second thing is then Mercury is now direct as of October 17th.
Okay,
So Mercury is the planet of communication.
It's interesting how these are going to play together,
Right?
So what's interesting about this is that around this time because Mercury is now out of retrograde and it's direct again,
But we're still in that tentative time,
Right?
And now is the time when we become aware of the insecurities and consider past situations that caused us pain,
Right?
So now isn't that fascinating?
So this is a time then of rebirth,
Renewal,
Starting over,
Manifesting.
I didn't even realize any of this stuff by the way,
Until I looked it up because I knew once I got hold of my like sort of head,
I started to realize that I started to realize that you know what,
This isn't necessarily me.
I think this is like planetary kind of thing.
So it was pretty interesting.
Pretty interesting that all those icky emotions that I had,
They had to come up in order to make room for the light.
I had to purge those ridiculous,
Stupid emotions in order to make room for health and peace and joy.
So we are going to meditate on bringing that peace in to us because we deserve that,
Right?
Like once you purge negativity from your life,
Whether it's a relationship with somebody or whether it's just emotions that are deep down in your brain that are like,
You know,
One of those kind of things,
Gruff,
You know.
Once we purge that,
Then we have to replace it with something,
Right?
So we replace it with peace and bliss,
Right?
So let's get ourselves comfy because we're going to meditate on this,
Of course.
Okay,
So get yourself comfy with your blankie or if you're laying on your bed or whatever it is and close your eyes whenever you feel comfortable.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
Breathing in positivity and renewal and rebirth and release.
Love it.
This meditation is about renewal.
When I went away for those couple of days,
I didn't realize that the renewal or the rebirth that I was going to be feeling was going to be about this.
I thought it was renewal of my body and spirit.
No,
It was emotional,
Right?
And just allowing,
Just allowing that to happen is what changes everything.
So let's consider just a few things today.
What are you grateful for?
What are you grateful for?
You know,
Even though we tend to right now have these odd emotions going on,
Being thankful for those emotions and the regeneration of peace in our lives,
That is seriously something to be grateful for.
So beautiful.
So our mantra for today is shanti.
Shanti means peace in Sanskrit.
So let's consider the peace and let's invite in peace into our lives.
And that calm that comes with it.
So if you forget the mantra,
It's absolutely okay.
Just come back to your breath and I will keep the time and let's begin.
