by Lauri Albert
Life is so precious! Never allow fear to stop you from telling the people you love how you feel. Speak your truth before it’s too late! Tell them you love them. Clean up the messes. You never know when you won't be able to again.

Namaste everybody.
Welcome to In the Flow with Lorie Albert.
Are we ready to do some meditating and start our day out properly?
I hope so.
So today is kind of an interesting day for me.
I found out yesterday that a friend of mine that I met through David G's meditation teacher training passed away.
And it's first of all it's it's really really sad when we were there at the at the nest.
David G calls it the nest.
She had just finished a chemo treatment and was sick but she did not want to miss a minute.
And that right there just amazed me right that aspect about her just amazed me.
And then just getting to know her she was my roommate at the at the nest.
She and two other girls.
It was so much fun.
We had 14 hour days learning with David G and then we would sit up and giggle.
Oh my gosh I'm 55 years old and here I was giggling like I was in grade school.
It was pretty amazing.
But you know I was just struck yesterday by the community.
How our community has sort of come together and and just acknowledged the beautiful light that this lady was.
Her name was Dawn.
And first of all what a beautiful name right.
But you know I was amazed yesterday at how our community our David G teacher community came together and we just we just sort of bonded over each other and her and it was really amazing.
The second thing that I wanted to talk about in you know when anybody passes you kind of go inside and you and you look at your own life and you look at your own friends and you you know you kind of think about death first of all.
But you know two things I really wanted to say about this before we meditate on this right.
Gosh don't be scared.
And you know it's so funny because we hear this a lot but I think it's a great reminder to say to each other and ourselves speak your emotions.
Speak your emotions.
If you have something to say if you love somebody let them know.
If you have a if you have a grievance with somebody I swear to God let them know.
Clean it up.
Clean up the grievances.
Tell people you love them before you can't in this human form right.
Which leads me to my second thing.
You know as a medium I have a different perspective of life,
Death,
All of it.
And I don't believe that death of the physical body is the end.
I really just don't.
And it took me I swear before I became a practicing medium I was scared of death when I was a kid.
Of course who isn't?
In some way shape or form.
And I was scared of death.
But you know what?
Once I started once I started developing my gifts I started to realize that death of the human body is not the end.
You know Wayne Dyer talked a lot about that first of all and he said you know we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.
So I think when somebody you love passes we have to kind of remember that.
We have to kind of remember that.
We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
So that right there kind of takes away some of the pressure of death right.
Not to be scared of it.
You know and I think that's why I might be a little bit more outspoken.
I was kind of always outspoken but but um I think that's why I've become a little bit more outspoken in my since I've developed my gifts because life is too short.
If you have a grievance with somebody work it out figure it out.
Clear the air.
If you love somebody and you've never told them tell them now.
I'm so mad at myself although I know she knows because I know she's on the other side but I never told my friend Dawn how important she actually was to me and my experience at the davidji training session.
I mean we had a whole week together as roommates and before she died I did not get to tell her how important she was.
I think she knew to a certain degree and we were close but we weren't like it's not like I talk to her all the time kind of thing but you know she was a really special lady.
She made that experience for me like really really fun.
So at any rate that is my sort of soapbox moment for the day right.
So what I want to do today is I want to meditate on love you guys.
We are going to meditate on love.
Love for ourselves.
Love for each other.
Just the beautiful universal love.
It's so important.
It's so so important.
So let's get ourselves comfy.
Let's just you know let's do this thing.
Oh my goodness.
So let's uh okay so if everybody's comfortable let's start off by taking a nice deep breath in.
Fill up your lungs through your nose all the way down to your toes.
Fill up every cell of your body with energy with beautiful oxygen and release.
Awesome.
Let's do that again.
Fill up our bodies and our souls and our lungs with that beautiful life force that is oxygen and release.
Today I want to meditate on love.
Heart chakra.
I want to focus on the heart chakra and absolute love.
Love for the world.
Love for ourselves.
Passionate love.
Childlike love.
Love for all things.
Love that makes you want to cry.
Love that makes you want to smile and have joy.
So today's mantra coincides with our heart chakra and that is YAM.
Y-A-A-M.
YAM.
And if you feel like you're supposed to put your hand over your heart and focus on love.
Love for all of your friends and family.
Sending them love.
Sending all the people in the world that you feel love for.
And as we do that,
As we focus on love,
Let's also consider our gratefuls.
What are you grateful for today?
Who are you grateful for today?
There's so much to be grateful for in this world.
So much to love.
So many things to have joy about.
So many things to be happy about.
So our mantra for today is YAM.
You can repeat that over and over again.
If you feel like you've lost the mantra,
Just go ahead and focus on your breathing and on your heart chakra.
Place some attention right on your heart.
And let's begin.
YAM.
YAM.
YAM.
YAM.
YAM.
YAM.
YAM.
YAM.
Start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Place your hand over your heart.
Let's thank Spirit for this beautiful time.
And recognizing the love that is in the world that we have for each other.
And that we have for our life,
Our friends and our family.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
Breathe in through your nose.
And out.
Very good.
You can open your eyes whenever you feel comfortable.
Beautiful.
Very good.
Thank you guys for joining today.
And remember today to go out and speak your emotions.
Tell somebody how much you appreciate them.
Tell somebody how much you love them.
Clean up the grievances.
Let's be the love we want to see in this world,
Right?
So until next time,
Thank you so much for joining me today.
Namaste everybody.
