Namaste and welcome to the Spirit Rooms daily podcast, In the Flow with Lori Albert, Where we discuss spirituality, Meditate, And allow positivity to envelop every aspect of our souls. Welcome. I love, Love, Love talking about the word possibility. It is such a freeing word to me. Possibility. Oh, When we talk about possibility, We are creating and considering and dreaming what we might want for our lives. The reason I want to talk about it today is because I know that for some people, The idea of possibility or what if is difficult. It's hard for some people to imagine and dream. It is. But here's the aspect of this that I want to talk about. I want to talk about what stops us from dreaming and creating. Even simple possibilities and for ourselves. Now this may be a bold statement, But we are programmed to some degree about our lives. And what a shame. It's a shame. I remember feeling that box that I was supposed to be in when I was younger. Girls don't do this. Boys don't do that. No girls don't do this or that. You guys know what I'm talking about. You must go to college and get your degree and then you can think about what you really might want for your life. Everyone has a version of that. That just happens to be mine. But even then there are still limits. Does anyone experience this too? Now truth be told I had a great childhood. I don't want to give anybody the wrong impression. I was loved. I knew I was loved and I was encouraged. But I was told to stay in that box. Not literally of course. Now I was able to dream, But I had to stay grounded in quote unquote reality. Now I get that as a mom. I actually get that because you don't want your kid to be hurt and you want to protect them. My parents told me all the right things to protect me and I do not begrudge that at all. Being a mom I get it. It wasn't until much much later that I realized that I am allowed to dream big and that is what can change the world. I know. I am here to tell you today. Spirit wants me to tell you today that it is okay to dream big. It's okay to think outside that box and want to change the world. I remember feeling that for the first time. That I want to change the world around me. I started out small, My people. I wanted them to be truly happy. And then I remember thinking hey, Maybe I can change the world and help lots of people be happier and more content. And then I remember the light switch going on and I realized that I could think and believe and truly be anyone that I wanted. Not what other people wanted, What I wanted. I embraced all the stuff that I thought I wasn't supposed to embrace and then I was able to start dreaming and I could have that. I'm sorry, I want to say it this way. I could dream about having my own impact on the world, Making it a happier place for anyone. And here's the thing. You can do this too. Yes you can. Regardless of your upbringing, Your religious beliefs, Your schooling, Your gender, Societal beliefs, You can create your life however you choose for it to be. I don't know about you. It makes me have goosebumps talking about this. I could literally talk about this all day. The secret to this whole thing though is to rid yourself of the fear attached to dreaming big. And honestly this is one of the main concepts of manifesting. Getting past any fears or ways of belief that are limiting because you are limitless. You know how you see those signs around that say dream big or you can do it. That lady keeps coming up. The lady with the. . . Shoot I can't remember her name. She puts her arm up and she was the Riveter Annie or Riveter somebody or something. Anyway, I believe that those signs are put there for us to see, To remind us with the help of people of course. Spirit puts it there with the help of people to constantly remind us that there's more to life than the constraints that we put on ourselves. I'm here to tell you today that you can do anything that you can dream of. Allow yourself to dream. Allow yourself to find the possibilities. Getting past any fear surrounding those possibilities is truly where the pot of gold lies. It's those limiting fears. It's those limiting. . . It's that. . . The word limit. God, Isn't that horrible? It's good. It really is good to look at our past and understand where we came from. But you know what? We can't live in the past. So let's start right now in this present moment to change those thoughts and find the possibilities. However small. You know, Just taking your toe out of the box. You can do this. You are allowed to have possibility in your life. I'm going to say it again. Getting past that fear surrounding those possibilities. That's where the pot of gold is. And when you allow yourself to just take a little step out of the box, Your life can change. And you can be more content with who you are. You can be happier in your life. So at this point in the conversation, Here's where daily affirmations can really, Really come into play. And I know I talk about affirmations a lot, But they're so important. Listening to that terrible negative voice in our heads telling us not to dream big because we can't do it. Or it's too much for us. It's defeating to do that. So a great step. There's many things you can do, But a great step is to flood your mind with positivity and affirmations and happy thoughts. Flood it and drown out that voice that just gets in there and puts your doubt in there. We want to drown out that voice that tells us we cannot dream big. So today's mantra. If you say this to yourself every day, All day, It would be pretty amazing. Okay, So let's, I'm just, I'm not going to tell you just yet. So let's close our eyes. We're just going to, We're just going to sit in the stillness for a very short period of time today. But it will be impactful. Creating the intention of finding possibility. Okay, So we're going to create the intention of finding possibility for ourselves. So close your eyes. Take a deep breath in. And release it. Relax your body. Our mantra for today is shivo hum. Shivo hum. And what that means is, I am the reality of infinite possibilities. Shivo hum, I am the reality of infinite possibilities. So let's start to relax ourselves and start to say this mantra to ourselves over and over. I am the reality of infinite possibilities. The mantra is shivo hum. Shivo hum. Shivo hum.
