Welcome to In the Flow with Laurie Albert,

A brief,

Positivity-inspiring chat and meditation designed to uplift and motivate us to live our best lives.

Let's get in the flow.

So in getting ready for 2022,

We're going to bring it in on a high note,

Right?

But what I want to talk about today is getting ready to start the manifestation journey.

Now,

I know that sounds kind of weird because it's like,

Well,

Wait a minute,

Don't you just start journey and then you're on the journey?

Well,

Here's my point.

There is so,

So much to talk about regarding manifestation and manifesting your heart's desire,

Right?

But what I want to talk about today are two points that actually,

Two points that you kind of need to know about going into as you begin the journey.

Okay,

So the first point that I want to talk about is,

Are you ready for this change in your life?

Now,

I know that sounds kind of crazy because most people are going to be like,

Well,

Yeah,

Hello,

I want change.

I want a new life,

You know,

Kind of thing.

I want things to change.

But the question remains,

How badly do you want the change,

Right,

In order to start that journey of manifesting,

Of manifestation?

I know it sounds kind of bizarre,

But here's the thing.

It's work.

It's work to manifest,

Right?

And why is that work?

Because we have to decide that we are ready to make the change.

And when we get into that,

We're going to make a change.

We're going to start to manifest our life,

Right?

You have to realize that there is work to be done.

The work comes in where we need to change our thought processes.

Yes,

I said that without sounding drunk.

We have to change our thought processes on our life.

We have to change how we view ourselves and our lives.

I know that's the entire,

To me,

That was one of the largest shifts,

The biggest shifts that I had to make.

Because,

You know,

That voice in your head that's telling you you don't deserve that,

Or like you go to the store and there's this beautiful dress,

You try it on and you look awesome in this dress.

But you say to yourself,

I don't deserve that.

Right?

I mean,

We've all done stuff like that.

So we need to change how we view ourselves and how we view our lives.

And do you know why that is important in manifestation?

Because the law of attraction tells us that like attracts like.

So if we feel that we are unworthy of the dress,

Of whatever,

Of a fantastic relationship,

Of a great relationship with your family,

I mean,

It doesn't have to be stuff.

That's the whole point,

Right?

If we really believe that,

Like attracts like.

So if we believe that we don't deserve it,

Then we won't have it because you won't deserve it.

Wow,

That's kind of like a big thought process for first thing,

Right?

But,

You know,

You have to shift how you think about your life.

OK,

You have to shift it,

Shift your thoughts.

And that takes practice.

That takes,

That takes.

Dedication.

Right.

And yes,

It is like self-confidence.

It's it's but it's more than that.

And we'll get into that in further manifesting podcasts.

OK,

Now,

The second thing that I want to talk about in getting ready to do this,

This manifestation journey for 2022,

Right,

Is this.

When you put in the work.

Get ready because manifestation will happen and you won't even necessarily realize that it's going on.

Right.

So the best way for me to describe this is this.

The first time that I manifested a parking space,

I was like,

Oh,

I got a parking space.

Cool.

Huh?

Right.

Second time I manifested a parking space,

I was like,

Oh,

My wonder what did I do.

Did I do that?

Did I manifest that parking space in the middle of the Christmas season when everybody and their brothers go into the store?

The third time I manifested a parking space,

I was like,

Hell yeah.

You know,

I was like,

I've got this.

Oh,

My gosh,

I get it.

That is how it works.

It's crazy.

So.

I want to say that because it's not just about manifesting parking spaces,

It's manifesting.

It's manifesting gratitude in your life.

It's manifesting stuff about your life.

Not just it's not just about manifesting a million dollars or winning the lottery.

Right.

If you want that quick fix.

You're going to have to go talk to somebody else because I'm not about that quick fix thing.

It does it never.

Well,

In my experience,

It doesn't work like that.

Right.

Because we have to get in there and change our thoughts.

And that's why it takes work.

And how do you do that?

You there's all sorts of little games that we play,

Right,

That we can play with our minds to start the to start the transformation process.

Yep.

And the one thing the one thing I want to say before we go into meditation about this is because we are just getting ourselves ready for this.

Right.

There are so many things that we can do.

OK.

But the thing I love the most about doing this work is.

If you fall off the wagon,

So to speak,

And if if you just like one day you're just like,

Oh,

I just can't I can't I can't I just can't,

You know,

Too many bad things are happening.

I can't I can't think positive thoughts today or whatever.

Right.

I just don't feel like writing in my journal.

I don't feel like visualizing.

I don't feel like doing that work.

You can always start again.

It's not like it's the type of OK,

So I refer to it kind of as a game,

But it's not the type of game where you you win or you lose in a sense.

As far as that goes,

You start back and you keep moving forward.

You keep moving forward.

You keep moving forward.

So what we're going to do today is we're going to start out slow because come 2022,

We're going to hit the ground running.

OK,

We're going to sit in meditation.

And we're going to do one of the best things that we can do.

In the in the excitement of manifesting,

We are going to meditate on gratitude.

OK,

That is probably the most important thing that we can do to start the manifestation process.

The most important thing.

OK.

All right.

So let's get ourselves comfy because I honestly meditation is.

Meditation is probably one.

Well,

One of my favorite ways to manifest.

Just saying so.

All right.

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

La la la la la.

And that can be.

And I know I sound like a broken record about this as well.

It can be however it looks to you.

You can sit with your feet crossed or feet flat on the floor,

However it looks to you.

What whatever makes you comfortable.

OK.

All right.

So let's close our eyes,

Get ourselves comfy.

And before we start out,

Let's consider those three things.

That we are grateful for today.

Three things that you are grateful for in yourself,

For yourself and your life.

And it can be it's that another thing about this work,

It's highly personalized.

So whatever.

It is for you.

For some people,

It's going to be look being the ability to look out the window and see the birds flying.

See the little squirrels running around for somebody else.

It's going to be the relationship with their parents or their mother or their father or,

You know,

Whatever.

Highly,

Highly personalized.

And for yet still others,

It's going to be the ability to afford a beautiful Christmas tree.

Anything,

Whatever it is for you.

Three things that you are grateful for.

And so our mantra for today is my personal go to.

Thank you.

Very simple,

Yet so meaningful.

Thank you.

So as we sit in the stillness.

And repeat our mantra.

Thank you.

Relax your body and allow.

The gratitude to seep in to your being,

To your soul.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Back to the chair we're sitting in.
