Good morning everybody.
Welcome to morning meditation in the flow.
Let's get in the flow,
Shall we?
So today what I want to talk about is life.
Isn't that great?
So the journey of life what is that?
It's filled with ups,
It's filled with downs,
It's filled with complete joy like heart-wrenching joy and heart-wrenching sorrow.
Right?
You've got so much,
There's so many emotions that we deal with.
You know but life is about the journey.
Right?
Life is about the journey.
It's that roller coaster.
You know obviously good times bad times blah blah blah.
But we have to realize that if we love all parts of our life and if we appreciate all parts of our life that is sort of what the key to happiness and contentedness is.
And I've learned that so much through meditation because what ends up happening is is that it's like I appreciate,
I've learned to appreciate all of it all of life the happiness and the sadness.
I love all of it.
And I've learned that like I said through meditation because what I get is what I get out of meditation is just the flow the easy flow of life.
Right?
So the important thing is then is to stay present.
Right?
So we need to stay present in our daily lives.
Right?
And know that in our hearts pulling out that love and just allowing our hearts to open up and just be love.
That's how we get through the good times and the bad times.
Right?
Life is about the journey.
So yeah I mean I I know so many people that have had really really crappy things happen to them.
But through that you learn and through the happy times you learn.
Right?
So that's what I wanted.
That was what the message that I felt like I was supposed to share today.
Spirit works through me in very interesting ways sometimes and I think you guys know that by now.
But um you know I I ask them what I'm supposed to say and I they just impart this this wisdom.
And the the really cool thing is for me about it is is that it's it's all it's not me in my lessons it's Spirit's lessons.
So at any rate let's just enjoy our lives all the good parts and all the bad parts.
And it's hard because there's some really crappy things that happen in our lives.
So yeah so today's meditation is we are gonna be talking about love.
It's about love.
Yay!
I know isn't that beautiful?
So anyway okay so let's get ourselves let's get ourselves comfy.
Get your blanket,
Get your pillow,
Whatever is comfortable for you.
Okay so let's take a nice long slow deep breath in.
Breathe in really slow through your nose.
And release.
If you've noticed I tend to do a controlled release.
But if it makes you feel like that you are letting go of something you can do a forced release like a you know you can do that.
If it makes you feel more like you're letting go then do that.
Right so let's take another deep breath in really slow and let this really with that let's release.
How does that make you feel?
Perfect.
So as we talk about how our life is filled with ups and downs there is always room for gratitude.
Right always room.
So what are your three things today that you are grateful for?
Even if you're going through a time when you feel like you are being tested or if you feel like that life could not be any better or if you feel like that you're just going to break down in tears.
What are you grateful for?
There's always always always something that we can be grateful for.
I'm really grateful for the dinner I made last night.
It was so yummy.
I'm grateful for June gloom in California that's what we call it when it's overcast in the morning.
What are you grateful for?
So for our meditation today our mantra is a really great mantra.
Very excited.
It's a Sanskrit and it is aham prima.
Aham prima.
What that means is that I am divine love.
Isn't that absolutely beautiful?
Now Deepak Chopra when he talks about aham prima he says that this actually means divine love and human love and universal love.
It's love.
It is all-encompassing.
It's unconditional love.
All the love that you can imagine in the world.
All the different types that we think about.
Aham prima.
I want you to know that as we say this mantra today in our meditation,
Know that spirit is with you no matter what.
Spirit and God they're with you.
Showing you the love.
Giving you the love.
Sometimes it's hard to feel it.
Sometimes it's hard to understand that it's there.
But there's so much love and it begins inside of us.
The divine love within us.
So our mantra today,
Aham prima,
If you feel like that you are thinking too much,
It's absolutely okay.
Just bring yourself back to the mantra or to your breathing.
I will keep the time.
