Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short,

Yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.

Let's get in the flow.

What a past couple of days,

Right?

Seriously.

You know,

It's so interesting because in real time,

Right,

It's been an emotional,

Crazy,

Sad,

Scary few days.

But I realized in considering life right now,

Isn't it like this all the time?

Like aren't we going through stuff all the time?

Yes,

We've been,

Especially the US,

I mean,

Of course I'm in the US,

So of course I know stuff.

I mean,

I'm more aware of the stuff that's going on in the US than maybe around the world.

However,

We're dealing with a lot,

Right?

As is the world.

We got hurricanes,

We got COVID,

We've got other stuff.

I'm just going to say it that way because I don't want to bring in that energy,

Right?

But here's the thing.

If you're listening to this,

Whether it's today or to some other day,

Isn't it all sort of the same?

I mean,

So here's the point.

I think that today is a great day to think globally.

I think today is the perfect day for that.

Spirit thinks that today is the perfect day for that because yet again,

I had a whole thing planned and you know,

I wake up this morning and Spirit's like,

Nah,

No,

I love that,

Right?

I just,

I love that I trust Spirit,

But whatever,

That's a whole other conversation.

You know,

But anyway,

So we get so used to getting caught up in our own personal day to dayness.

But everything going on in the world right now,

It's pretty crazy whether you're listening to this today,

Tomorrow,

16 days from now,

Whatever,

Right?

There's so much turmoil,

So much anger,

So many natural disasters.

Maybe today we go a little deep,

Right?

I love,

I secretly love going deep and telling other people to go deep.

You know what,

Let's consider today what we would love to see for the world.

What would an intention that you have for the world be today?

And I don't mean like,

Well,

And I do mean world peace,

But I don't mean world peace.

Let's let's think deep,

Right?

Because here's the thing,

We should be what we want to see in the world,

Right?

I mean,

That's what they talk about all the time,

The spiritual teachers.

Be who you want to be in the world,

Or you want to see in the world,

That sort of thing.

So let's create intentions for today of what we would like to see and be in this world.

Fun,

Right?

What would an intention be that you can create for the world?

Not something that you want to do in the world,

But if you could create something new for the world,

What would that be?

Like can you imagine,

Oh,

This gives me chills.

And I've been part of these before because people put these on a lot,

But a global meditation for just one day,

Where we all sit in meditation for one day,

Just considering positive,

Healing,

Happy vibes for the world.

I love that.

I think it was like,

I don't know,

It was right after COVID started and we were all starting to get locked down and they had somebody,

I forget even who it was,

Had a global meditation and we all got on and all these spiritual teachers throughout the world would like,

It was all online,

Right?

And they would talk for like 10 minutes and then we'd all meditate together.

There was millions of people meditating at the same time.

That just blows my socks off because I'm really into that kind of stuff,

Right?

It was so cool.

It was just so cool.

So for today's meditation,

What I want us to do is create an intention for the world.

We are the owners of the world.

We are the keepers of the world,

Aren't we?

So we can create whatever we want in this world.

We can create it.

So let's start off with that,

Right?

I'm going to lead us through some stuff.

Okay,

So let's get ourselves comfortable and however that is for you,

Feet flat on the floor,

Feet cross-legged.

I prefer cross-legged myself anyway.

So get yourself comfortable.

Close your eyes whenever it feels right for you.

Very good.

Let's take a beautiful cleansing,

Healing breath in.

So breathe in through your nose really slow and release very gently.

Very good.

Just even taking that deep breath in is healing and calming.

Don't you think?

So let's create an intention for the world.

What is it that you would like to see for yourself in the world?

What is it?

It can be anything for you.

It can be global.

It could be individual.

What is it that you would like to see in the world as an intention?

Next,

What is an emotion or a feeling that you would like to send to the world?

What is an emotion or feeling that you would like to send to the world?

You can get creative with it.

Yes,

Peace is beautiful and love gorgeous.

But what if you sent a feeling of chocolate cake to the world or that feeling of the excitement of watching fireworks to the world?

It can be anything.

What do you choose to send to the world?

It can be compassion.

It can be.

It could just be plain old happiness.

So we've created our intention and now we're going to chant peace to the world.

Lifting up that intention and sending it out to ourselves,

To our loved ones,

To our town,

To our country,

To the world.

And our mantra for today is shanti.

We're going to chant shanti.

Shanti means peace.

So as we send the compassion and the hope and the love and the peace to the world and the chocolate cake,

Let's send it out there by chanting shanti.
