And the afterlife.
So you may know that I love talking about gratitude,
Right?
I mean,
If you've ever listened to me before,
You probably realize I'm kind of into like the gratitude thing.
And I get asked all the time,
Like,
Why?
You know,
Like,
What,
What is it that is so great about doing gratitude?
Well,
Here's the thing.
For me personally,
Just me,
Right?
You know,
Because I can only talk from me and my own experience.
But the reality is,
Is that it makes me feel good.
I mean,
Really,
If you just say it like that,
I feel good when I'm grateful.
I feel good when I'm saying when I,
You know,
When I realize how great things are.
Do you want to know a secret?
Okay,
So here's the deal.
My coffee this morning,
Drinking my coffee,
It's a new kind of coffee.
It's am I allowed to say this Starbucks,
Starbucks,
Like graham cracker.
Oh,
To die for,
Right?
And all I could think of was I'm sipping it.
I'm going,
Oh,
Thank you.
Oh my gosh,
You know,
And so here's what I want to say about this.
If you just incorporate,
You know,
You don't have to get into the term gratitude,
You know,
So so much,
Right?
If you just incorporate,
Thank you into your vocabulary more,
That's kind of not,
I wouldn't say the entire thing,
But if you just incorporate it into your being,
That creates a whole new way of living your life.
And again,
I know I say this a lot,
But you know,
People say,
Why are you so happy?
Because of the gratitude.
So that's kind of that.
Now today's mantra,
I want to talk about this for just a few minutes.
This is one of my,
My go tos.
Now I will say that when I meditate,
This is actually kind of cool.
When I meditate,
I'll sit down,
I'll close my eyes and depending on what I'm doing,
Because you guys realize that there's,
Well for me,
There are two ways that I meditate.
One is because you know,
I'm a medium,
One is to open up my chakras.
Okay,
So I sit down,
I open up my chakras and then I do my spiritual work,
Right?
The other one is to sit in the stillness.
Okay.
And that's the most,
That's well,
Barring,
Well,
I guess they're both important for different reasons,
I guess you could say.
But sitting in the stillness is really important for going deep within and quieting your mind,
You know,
All of that.
But what I do is first thing before I like,
I'll close my eyes and I'll get,
I'll take a deep breath and then I just start saying thank you over and over and over again until I feel like sort of relaxed until my body starts to relax.
And then I'll start into whether it's,
Whether it's opening my chakras or you know,
Saying a mantra or chanting.
I won't be chanting anytime soon with this voice,
Slow as it is right now.
But you know,
So then I started,
But for me saying thank you is like relaxing.
You know,
I mean everybody has their own thing that they do.
But for me,
It's kind of relaxing.
It helps me relax before I get into meditation.
Okay.
So the reason why I'm saying that is that the mantra that we're going to meditate on right now is,
And some of you,
I'm sure a lot of you have heard of this,
Is Ho'oponopono,
The Hawaiian prayer,
Right?
It's it's,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
But if you look at it that way,
If you look at it,
Taking each little phrase by itself,
It covers like everything that you could ever think.
I mean,
If that makes sense to you,
It covers like everything you could ever kind of consider,
Right?
I'm sorry.
So you're saying,
I'm sorry to the universe.
You're saying,
I'm sorry to yourself.
You're saying,
I'm sorry to those that may have,
You know,
You've done something to,
You know,
This is all in your mind,
Of course.
Right?
You're saying,
I'm sorry to spirit,
The whole thing,
Right?
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me.
Right?
And so you're,
Then you're asking for forgiveness from yourself,
From spirit,
From all of that,
Right?
From spirit,
From all these people,
All these people,
You know what I mean?
Like if you've wronged somebody in your mind,
You're asking for forgiveness in your mind,
Right?
Please.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
Thank you.
First of all,
For,
For thank you just as a way of being grateful,
Right?
Number one,
But number two,
Thank you for forgiving me to spirit and thank you to yourself for forgiving yourself.
Do you know how big that is?
You know,
I'm kind of like going fast because we only have 15 minutes,
Right?
But if you think about that,
Thank you to yourself for forgiving.
Thank you for everything that you,
You know,
For yourself.
Thank you to spirit for giving you everything that you have.
Thank you for forgiveness from the,
From the people,
Right?
That you have wronged or whatever,
Right?
And then lastly,
I love you saying,
I love you.
And I've said this a gazillion times saying,
I love you to yourself is bigger than you could ever even imagine,
Right?
Saying I love you to yourself is difficult and hard,
But essential,
Right?
And that's part of how you get yourself to a place of peace,
Right?
But then you're also saying,
I love you to spirit.
You're saying I love you to all your loved ones and all your acquaintances.
And then you're saying,
I love you to the world.
I love that.
I love that.
So this is like my favorite,
One of my favorite mantras.
There's of course,
I have many favorite mantras.
I have several that are like my go-tos and stuff like that.
But yeah,
The Ho'oponopono prayer is,
And there's courses about this.
I'm giving you just the top layer.
There's so much to know about this.
And on Insight Timer,
Tons of ways to learn about it everywhere.
So if you're interested in what I'm saying,
You should go check it out because it's really,
Really powerful.
And the whole story behind it,
Not going to get into that.
But anyway,
So what this is all about is bringing the gratitude into your being.
Bringing the gratitude into your being.
So that's what we're going to do.
So let's get ourselves situated and comfortable,
Whatever that looks like for you.
Okay.
However that looks for you.
If you're laying down,
That's fine.
If you're slouching down,
That's fine too.
You can just be,
You can be sitting with your legs crossed or flat on the floor.
It doesn't matter.
Okay.
Now close your eyes whenever you feel comfortable.
And let's take a nice,
Really,
Really slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and release it.
Gorgeous.
Gorgeous.
That felt so good.
We're going to do that again.
Let's take a nice,
Slow,
Deep,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Getting into every cell in your body and release it.
Another way to just instantly relax your body,
Right?
So what are you grateful for today?
In your mind,
Let's go with five today.
What are five things?
Ooh,
That's challenge,
Right?
What are five things that you are grateful for today?
I'm grateful to my new flavor of coffee,
But honestly,
I'm also incredibly grateful.
I had the best conversation with my aunt and uncle last night.
So,
So,
So grateful for that.
There's so many things you could go as deep into your being and pull out something as amazing as the shift from the third dimension to the fifth.
Or you could go to the easy place of coffee.
That's what the beauty of gratitude is.
It's however you make it to be.
So,
The ho'oponopono,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
Start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
You can release the mantra and whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.
I don't know about you guys but I had like a smile on my face that whole time and I know that that was on the shorter side but you know you can always continue the beauty of it.
You guys are so awesome.
So continue this throughout your day.
Just say to yourself,
Like if you find yourself wherever,
In the car,
In the restroom,
At work,
Sitting at your desk,
Whatever,
Just say to yourself thank you.
And it's like a blanket thing.
It's a thank you to yourself,
To spirit,
To the others around you,
To the world.
I love that.
I love that.
So thank you for joining From My Heart to Yours.
Namaste.
