Transcript
This is meant to be an active meditation.
Ideally you will play this while you work on a decluttering goal within a specific closed timeframe.
I would suggest 10 minutes to start.
This track is meant to give you moral support as you release the items that don't fit into the life you want to create.
If you have to walk away from your speaker to put something away in another room it's okay just replay this audio.
Before starting drink a glass of water.
Clearing clutter requires decision-making skills and energy.
There are spiritual,
Emotional,
And physical aspects to clearing clutter.
By taking an action during the salatit period you will be moving your energy towards your desired goal.
By letting these affirmations and meditations wash over you while you work you will develop an awareness of the price of clutter.
Just by being willing to let the universe guide you through this process you will find doors opening up to you and teachers appearing to assist.
Take a deep breath and set your intention for this period.
My intuitive self knows what is essential.
Our possessions have strands of energy that attach to us and pull at us even when we are not near them.
Each item needs attention.
I know I have often felt so overwhelmed by the noise of objects clamoring for my attention that sometimes it's easier to take no action.
Each time we remove unwanted and unneeded items from our life we create clarity.
I am seeing unnecessary objects as if I'm a stranger entering the room for the first time.
Over time we can become clutter blind often missing objects that we may need.
We may even replace possessions that we already have because we can't find them or don't want to take the time to repair or clean an item.
I become lighter by throwing out what is easily recognized as garbage such as empty bottles,
Used tissues and open packaging.
Throwing out my everyday waste is easy and requires almost no decision-making.
My home thanks me for letting it breathe.
I love having a garbage can by the front door where I place mail to be sorted.
I can easily throw out junk mail.
I can attend to important information without distractions and never have to look at the same junk more than once.
I can pay my bills as quickly as possible while mentally thanking those who have extended their services to me.
I unpack all bags and boxes as quickly as they are brought into the home and I can put everything in its place.
Perishable food items could be refrigerated right away.
My food in the refrigerator is fresh and I release food that is past its expiration date.
I can see what I have and what I need to buy.
I prepare meals easily.
I am so grateful for the comfortable bed that keeps me safe through the night.
I love to thank it by making it every morning before I go off to enjoy my new day.
When I wash my dishes I love to see the light splash through the water and catch the small soap bubbles.
I am so grateful for my food and hard-working dishes.
I can find a place for everything.
I honor my empty space.
When I bring a new item into the home I put the item away in its designated place and easily release its equivalent item.
I love having only the best and most loved belongings around me.
When I take something out of a cabinet or drawer I remember to put it back when I am finished using it.
It gives me a thrill to know that I remember to do this follows up step.
I love setting time for my hobbies.
Supplies for my interests are used regularly and I never keep them stored for too long.
Hobby supplies that are unused scream at me to do something which causes me stress if they lie follow.
I know that if I can't do a project within a year I should give those supplies away.
I trust that the universe will provide me with new supplies for a new interest when the time is right.
My books are a great source of pleasure to me.
I keep my bookshelves full of books that I know I will read or need for future reference.
I often weed out the books from my physical bookshelves that are no longer speaking to me.
I love going to the library to borrow books.
It's like shopping without spending money.
If I am able I borrow books online from free sources as well.
I can tune into my intuitive self simple voice that guides me to know what to do with each item that I pick up.
This inner knowingness is a small still voice very different from an anxious needy voice or bossy voice.
My intuitive voice lets me know when to rest and when to push through.
This inner guidance helps me to stay on track but allows me time to be mindful of emotions that are evoked as I process through these possessions.
Excess clothing and housewares are swiftly donated to charity.
I don't obsess over giving each item to the perfect recipient.
I let the universe disperse my extra goods to those who need them.
Sometimes a person will just pop up in my world.
I found myself giving all sorts of treasures,
Well my unwanted goods but treasures hopefully to someone else,
To gas station attendants,
Mail carriers and workmen on my way to donating these unwanted goods.
I listened to my inner guidance.
My local thrift store was not taking goods one time.
I needed to travel an extra mile to put the clothing into a bin.
While I was there I met a young lady doing the same thing.
When I asked her if she wanted a large foldable bamboo fence she was dismayed and overjoyed because she was starting a party planning business and was doing a tiki party that very week and could not afford much for the decorations.
It's as if some force put us both there at that time and place to do that transaction.
When I have difficulty deciding if I will keep a piece of clothing that I haven't regularly used or worn for the past year I make up my mind to wear it that very day.
By the end of the day my decision is made.
If I find myself obsessing about a project or problem I tell myself all is well and everything at this moment is what I need.
I trust that all obstacles will be removed for me.
I know that I will receive what I need when I need it and am ready to receive it.
I can release what is not needed now all as well.
When I do have trouble releasing unwanted mental mental clutter I can write the problem down on paper and ask my guides to help me find a solution for the highest good for all.
In this way I release the thought and make way for the answers.
I know that thoughts of remorse,
Guilt,
Anger and jealousy must be released to move forward.
I acknowledge them and let them know that it's okay to release them.
They have served me and now it's time to move on.
If I can make restitution to those I have harmed I do.
I am thankful that my body renews itself.
My red blood cells replenish themselves after four months.
My skin in two to four weeks.
My liver can regenerate to its whole self from only 25% of its original tissue.
I remind myself of this fantastic ability when I find myself cleaning and dusting places.
I just cleaned and dusted one week before.
The cycle of rebirth and decay gives me hope that I will be forgiven when I make mistakes.
I know my bones will mend when they're broken.
If I don't work out and my muscles get weak I can make them stronger again.
Life is an ebb and flow and I'm glad to be alive.
