Find a space in which you are comfortable.

Allow yourself to come into a position in which you are either lying or sitting.

Find a posture that works best for your comfort and your alertness.

Close your eyes.

Know that any outside noises are not here to distract you.

Only add to your meditation.

Breathe a few breaths into your heart.

You may place a hand there to direct your attention.

Allow your heart to open as you breathe here.

Taking a deep breath in and out of your heart center.

Now breathing down from your heart into the belly area.

Imagining a balloon in your belly.

Each time you breathe in,

The balloon rises.

Each time you breathe out,

The balloon deflates.

Slowly rising and falling with each breath of air.

Allowing the body to delve deeper into comfort now.

Imagining a gentle shower of relaxation falling over your scalp.

Gently massaging your scalp.

Relaxation and peace falling over your facial muscles.

Allowing the jawline to release any tension.

Tension melting away.

Allowing your eyes to relax.

Even relaxing the muscles behind your eyes.

There is nothing you need to do in this moment.

Relaxation falling down from your face into your neck muscles.

Tension tends to be stored here,

Allowing yourself to let go of the tension in this area.

Dropping the shoulders down,

Releasing the tension.

Relaxation moving down into the arms.

Relaxing even your elbows.

Allowing the palms of your hand to become warm.

Noticing the texture of the cloth underneath the palms of your hands.

Taking another deep breath of air in and out.

Serenity moving down into the waist now.

Relaxing the front of your thighs and the back of your thighs.

Relaxation melting down into your knees.

Breathing the muscles deep,

Deep within your calves.

Breathing in and out.

Allowing even the bottom of your feet to melt into relaxation.

Turning your body getting heavier and heavier into the surface beneath you.

All of the tension draining out now.

I'm going to count down from 10 to 1.

When I reach the count of 1,

You will be in the deepest state of relaxation possible.

You will leave the external world behind and go on an internal journey.

A journey to a place of deep inner peace and stillness.

Counting now.

10.

Following the rhythm of your breath.

Knowing that this is your vehicle into relaxation.

Breathing slowly and deeply now.

Leaving any judgments or expectations behind.

Becoming a human being instead of a human doing.

Relaxing further and further.

Further and deeper.

More and more.

Connecting to your higher power now.

If you have an image of what your higher power looks like,

Bringing that image into your mind.

Bringing that image into every cell of your body.

Feeling your body fill up with love and compassion.

The boundaries of your body are slowly disappearing.

You are becoming a spirit outside of your body.

Halfway to the deepest state of relaxation.

Knowing that you can get twice as relaxed now.

Starting to drift off.

Feeling almost sleepy now.

You will stay anchored to my voice,

But you will be off in a deep state of relaxation.

Deeper and deeper.

1.

Leaving the external world behind and going on an internal journey now.

I would like you to imagine yourself barefooted in some kind of environment.

Looking down at your feet,

Feeling the texture underneath the bottoms of your feet.

Feeling the temperature underneath your bare feet.

Now looking up into the sky.

Noticing the color that the sky holds.

Noticing to notice what time of day it might be.

Now looking straight ahead.

Noticing where you are in this moment.

Allowing your bare feet to take you to explore your place.

Examining all the details of your place.

Noticing the colors,

The vegetation that surrounds you.

As you begin to walk and explore your place.

Feeling the temperature of the air on your skin.

Noticing the texture of the earth underneath you with each step you take.

As you continue to walk,

Knowing in your heart,

There is something that you are supposed to see here.

There is something here for you to discover.

With each step you take,

You know that you are getting closer and closer.

As you walk forward,

You notice a path up ahead.

Allow yourself to take this path.

Feeling the texture difference underneath your feet,

Raising your nose into the air as to smell if this is a familiar smell to you.

Noticing the vegetation that surrounds you as you walk.

Now seeing that this path fears to the left.

Allow yourself to follow the path.

And now you can see the end of the path.

At the end of the path,

You see a shadowy figure.

With each step you take,

This figure comes into more clarity.

As you get closer and closer,

You realize this figure is an animal.

Look into the animal's eyes.

Notice the color of their eyes.

Move the animal and notice how it responds to you.

When you feel ready to do so,

Ask the animal why it is here.

Ask the animal how best to call upon it in your waking life.

Ask the animal any question that you would like to know about your life right now.

Give your animal gratitude for being your guide.

Tell the animal thank you in your own way.

Tell the animal goodbye in physical form,

But know that it is always with you in spirit form.

Walk back up the path,

Walking back to your safe place.

Feeling the texture of the ground underneath you again.

Looking back into the sky and noticing the color that the sky has changed.

You are back to your safe place.

Seeing the temperature on your skin.

Finding a place where you can lay down and go to sleep.

Remembering the image of your animal before you close your eyes.

Drifting off now.

Losing your eyes.

You are at peace.

You are calm.

Coming back to your breath now.

Breathing in and out.

I'm going to count from one to ten and awaken you.

One two.

Life and energy flowing in your body.

From the top of your head down to the bottom of your feet.

Three four.

Feeling grateful for the mind,

Body,

And spirit that you have.

If there were any discomfort in any of those areas,

They are now gone.

Five six.

Recognizing that you are an important part of this universe.

And without you,

This universe would not be complete.

You are an important puzzle piece to this puzzle we call life.

You have a mission while you are here.

Seven eight.

Coming back into the room.

Coming back into reality now.

Nine,

Wiggling fingers and toes to come back fully.

Ten,

Opening your eyes to allow light in.

Coming back slowly.

Welcome back.

Now that you have discovered your animal,

Research your animal and discover the spirit meaning behind your animal.

The meaning of your animal can help you to discover more about yourself and where you are in life at this moment.

Each animal has a specific sign or life lesson that is meaningful to your life.

This took an unexpected turn for me. I was walking the beach and when the scene changed it went from white sand to rocks, and the turn to the left I had just the ocean on that side so I stepped in. Then back out. I prefer the beachline. Afraid to swim in the ocean. A beluga whale appeared. This is definitely not what I expected. It didn't seem to want to talk but the feeling I got about why it's there is to remind me that it exists. Like a part of me I hadn't been caring for. But after i asked it how to reach it , the whale started to frolic in the waves. Thank you. After looking up the beluga symbolism in spirit animal context and at the waters edge it makes even more sense. Thank you for supplying the opportunity
