When we need stillness the most in order to calm the chaos of the mind, that is often when we dive deeper into distraction, and add to the noise and create more uneasiness, increasing the anxiety we feel in every part of us. Numbing ourselves, absorbing negative or even toxic content through endless scrolling, engaging in meaningless conversations, this is the exact opposite of what we need to find peace, to embrace the joy that is ours, if we can just stop for a moment and breathe.
