Welcome to this relaxation recording which is designed to help you to release any stress or anxiety at a time of great change and help build confidence in your ability to handle anything because you can,
You can handle anything.
As this is a relaxation recording you'll be guided to completely let go and relax.
So if you're doing anything that requires your concentration whether that be driving,
Operating machinery,
Looking after children or pets,
I suggest you save this for later at a time where you can completely relax and you'll be undisturbed or arrange for somebody else to take care of those things and settle yourself in for around 20 minutes of complete relaxation.
Find yourself a comfy chair or bed where your body will be fully supported,
Where you'll be warm,
Cozy,
Refreshed,
Whatever you feel you need in order to sink into complete relaxation for the next 20 minutes.
I'm going to assume that you've done that and you're settled in feeling cozy,
Relaxed and ready to let your anxiety float away.
I invite you to close your eyes and as you do I would like you to gently engage your imagination and imagine that with every in breath you can breathe in relaxation and breathing in relaxation into every single muscle of your body,
Every cell of your body.
You just let go and relax deeper and deeper with every in breath becoming slightly more relaxing than the last and in the same way that you can breathe in relaxation you can let go of any unnecessary tension or stress with the out breath.
Just let go of anything you no longer need and allow this cycle of your breathing to become an unconscious process.
Simply breathing in relaxation and breathing out anything you no longer need.
You can be aware of all the sounds around you just know that these sounds are unimportant so you can disregard them in your own way and allow them to help you to relax deeper and deeper and allow them to help you concentrate.
Concentrate on the sound of my voice,
My voice which is also going to help you to relax deeper and deeper.
In a moment I'm going to ask you to imagine certain things.
Though it doesn't matter if you can't imagine all of the things that I'm asking you to do you might even find your mind wonders quite a bit.
Wonders so much that my voice just fades into the background and that's okay too.
The sound of my voice is going to continue to relax you and it really doesn't matter if you don't hear a word I say because very soon now you're going to be more relaxed than you have ever known.
Imagine yourself standing on top of a green hill on a tropical island.
Perhaps you can feel the warmth of the orange sun on your head and shoulders beaming down on you gently on your shoulders and your head.
Maybe you can see the long green grasses around you moving slightly in the gentlest of breezes.
Down the hill there's a narrow winding path that disappears into a small forest and beyond the forest the ocean of sunlight from the clearest of blue skies glancing off the tops of the waves in the bay so that the whole blue ocean seems to shimmer and sparkle.
You begin to move lazily and easily down the path.
The path with the green ferns and grasses brushing gently against your legs as you pass.
You may even catch the faint smell of salt carried on the sea breeze.
Become aware of the distant sound of the ocean on the shore.
Maybe even hear seabirds calling faintly from a long way off.
You marvel at the deep sense of calmness and tranquility that sweeps over you as you move on down,
Down towards the forest moving so easily,
So effortlessly.
You feel almost as though you're floating on air.
When in no time at all you find yourself drifting through the trees.
The leaves closing overhead to form a canopy above your head.
You look up and see their branches making an irregular pattern against the clear blue of the sky.
It's pleasantly cool in the forest and the gentle sound of birds singing,
Echoing faintly in the distance and the scent of the trees and the undergrowth relaxes you still further as you move easily into the inviting depths.
Becoming lazier and lazier with each step you take.
You can hear a stream somewhere.
It's gurgling sound gradually mingling with the sound of the ocean as you follow the winding path down and down towards the beach that you know is in front of you.
You slowly weave through the trees and brush aside the occasional piece of foliage until quite suddenly you feel the warmth of the sun on your head and shoulders again and you find yourself on a beautiful deserted beach.
Lovely golden shorelines sweeping away in a gentle curve in front of you to a distant point where the trees seem to come right down to the shoreline.
The branches of the palm trees actually seem to touch the ocean itself.
I wonder if you can feel the warm sand between your toes as you stroll across the beach to the water's edge.
You enjoy the change to a moist firm cornice beneath your feet as you wander along the shore leaving a trail of footprints in the sand behind you.
You feel the strength of your feet and your toes wiggling in the sand.
Every so often a slightly larger than usual wave sends a cleansing saltwater foaming around your feet.
The smell of the ocean,
Sunlight on the waves,
The sound of the water hissing over the sand,
All these things seem to create a sense of timelessness and for some unknown reason you find yourself looking out at the horizon.
Calmly trickling warm golden sand idly through your fingers.
There's a faint haze on the horizon which makes it difficult for you to see exactly where the sky stops and where the ocean begins and as you try to work it out you see a small white cloud appear from somewhere near the horizon.
It comes toward the island quite quickly growing larger as it approaches until it's immediately overhead.
The largest fluffiest whitest cloud you can ever remember and you somehow know just by instinct that you can let all of your worries,
All of your cares,
All of your fears just drift up towards this large white cloud.
So you do.
You let go of all your fears of what the new normal will look like.
You let go of your worries about what the new normal will feel like too.
You let go of any anxiety you feel about not working in your usual way,
About not exercising in your usual way,
Even not sleeping or eating in your usual way.
You simply let go.
You quieten the mean inner critic that says you aren't doing enough.
You let go of any negative inner chatter that makes you feel heavy and like you're not doing enough.
You are enough.
You are perfect as you are.
You are strong.
You are capable.
You are a guiding light in the world.
Your family,
Friends and community love you just the way you are.
You are calm.
You are capable.
You've got this because you are enough.
You let go of any negative chatter that tells you otherwise.
When it tries to tell you otherwise,
You simply switch off that channel.
You switch off that channel of negative self-talk and let it go.
You tune into your subconscious,
That deep inner voice,
The one that knows your real qualities and potential.
You listen to that inner supportive voice of loving messages,
Loving messages that tell you you've got this.
It will all be okay.
You are enough.
You know that working in the dark is difficult so you let go of worry about what might happen next week or next month or even tomorrow.
You're grateful to be healthy and safe today in the present.
You step back and turn the light on.
You see things from a new perspective.
You can see what really needs your focus and you know deep down inside that you can do it.
You know you have everything you need inside of you to take care of you and your family.
You remain calm and confident that you can work through any challenge that comes your way as you create your new normal.
You let go of worry about everybody else doing their thing,
Their way as everybody has their own way,
Their own particular path,
Their own particular skills to do it and you trust that yours is perfect for you and your family because you are enough.
You are calm,
Confident and relaxed in your ability to get through this.
You are exactly where you need to be right now and you are perfect as you are.
You let go of worry about things that you can't control.
You actually see or sense some of these fears and anxieties drifting away from you in a long slow spiral,
Maybe like smoke from a bonfire just spiraling away from you towards this large white cloud.
The cloud absorbs all of your worries into itself swallowing up all of your fears and anxieties becoming steadily darker all the time until just as it reaches its darkness,
Just as the last part of that spiral of your worries and cares disappears inside of it,
The sun bursts through scattering every one of your worries,
Every one of your fears and anxieties to the edges of the universe leaving you feeling totally relaxed and perfectly at ease with yourself without a single care in the world.
Now all your troubles and cares having floated away from you,
You settle yourself down into a comfortable position and just drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep and while you sleep you have a dream.
You dream you're walking down a long corridor,
A corridor that stretches away in front of you in a long gentle curve so long that you can't actually see the end of it and you know that this corridor is in the very depths of your subconscious mind,
In the part of your mind that knows just what to do and how to do it and as you begin to move along this beautiful corridor becoming even more relaxed,
Even more lazy you realise that time and space are beginning to lose their meaning and slowly the walls of the corridor seem to dissolve leaving you in a large room.
The room is full of a gentle golden light that relaxes you still further and helps calm you in ways that you do not fully understand and you suddenly realise with a surge of inspiration and pleasure that what you once saw as limits are merely stepping stones to greater success.
It also occurs to you with a burst of joy and delight that what once seemed to you to be the limits of your personality,
Of your skills and abilities are obstacles that are now easy for you to overcome and go beyond.
One wall of this room is like a huge TV screen with words and images flashing across it too fast for you to see and you realise that this is information being transmitted to different parts of your mind and body so you use your mind to will it to stop and as you do the screen clears and the word ready ready ready appears in large flashing letters.
Now your mind is prepared and receptive to everything I'm going to say to you and everything I say will be accepted and acted upon by your subconscious.
It will have a steadily increasing effect upon the way you think,
The way you feel and the way you behave over the coming days,
Weeks and months.
You are calm,
Confident and assured of your ability to create a new normal that's right for you when the time comes.
You are creative,
Capable and calm so anything is possible.
You trust in yourself and the deep well of inner strength you have inside of you.
The inner well of skills and ability that flows abundantly.
You trust that you can tap into your abundant resources whenever you need to as you let go of worry and trust the real you.
The one in the light of the Sun that has the power to handle anything.
You know that deep down you can handle anything.
You have a confidence that allows you to float forward to a future you.
A future you that's charged by that deep inner well of inner confidence and feels calm that they know exactly what to do.
A future you that is calm,
Confident and strong.
Rooted in the inner knowing that you can handle anything.
The you that takes the time every day to check in with you and take care of you before checking into the rest of the day.
A you that has control over the outcome of your days because you let go of frustration and not having done it before and celebrate the power in being able to do it today and looking after you.
You take positive action regularly to look after yourself so that you can enjoy the new normal feeling strong,
Grounded and positive because you trust your instinct.
You let go of all past heavy experiences and you trust the universe to provide opportunities that light up your path at exactly the right time for you and your business and your community.
You create space in your days for work,
Rest and play in a balanced way.
You always have time to do what you love with people you love as you live in tune with you whatever the circumstances.
As you are a part of a connected loving community and you're loved deeply,
You let go of all past negative habits and any negative thoughts.
You commit to yourself,
You trust yourself and your community does too.
They cheer you on wholeheartedly,
They want you to succeed in a way that works for you all.
They support you taking positive action to take care of you and your family's well-being every day because they love you and they want you to succeed.
You trust their support and you are confident you can do all that's required to run a successful business in a new normal that you create.
You have the power and confidence to create it in a way that works for you.
You're confident that you can thrive and money will come for you in your family in abundance exactly when you need it and even when you don't.
As your skills are many and the flow of opportunity is abundant when you show up for you and your business.
The universe knows everything that you do is in with good intent and it rewards your bravery and showing up consistently and confidently for you before you serve your community.
You trust yourself,
You are calm,
Confident and assured of your ability.
You can do it,
You've got this.
In a few moments from now I'm going to count from one to five and when we reach the count of one to five you'll be back to full conscious awareness fully refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.
As you hear me count from one to five all normal sensations will return to all parts of your body and all parts of your energy will come back to the present moment.
One,
Starting to come back become aware of your breathing your body in the room around you.
Two,
Start to wiggle your toes gently move your legs and feel a lovely grounding energy travel up your legs.
Three,
Moving your fingers gently move your arms maybe even start to stretch your arms above your head feel the energy moving through your body again.
Four,
Eyes starting to open on the next count your eyes are fully open.
Five,
Eyes fully open back to full conscious awareness fully refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.
All normal sensations returning to all parts of your body and all parts of your energy back in the present moment.
