There's a kind of tired that doesn't come from doing too much.
It comes from trying to feel okay in something that doesn't quite hold you.
Trying to make sense of yourself.
Trying to fix something.
Trying to get to a place where you finally feel settled.
And even when you do the work,
There can still be a persistent feeling underneath it all.
Loneliness.
Not always obvious,
But there.
Like something is missing.
Or like you're carrying more than you should have to by yourself.
And maybe your mind has learned to explain that feeling.
Something must be wrong with me.
I need to figure this out.
I need to fix this.
So the effort continues.
But for just a moment,
We're going to pause that.
Not because it's wrong,
But to see what's underneath it.
Allow your attention to settle now.
Begin to notice your body.
Begin to notice your breath.
Allow yourself to feel supported,
Even slightly.
And just noticing what it feels like to be here.
Is there tension?
Fatigue?
Pressure?
Or maybe that feeling of aloneness.
And instead of moving to fix it,
Just stay.
Because this feeling,
This loneliness,
This weight,
Doesn't come out of nowhere.
It makes sense in the world you've been living in.
A world that asks you to carry a lot.
A world that asks you to figure yourself out.
To regulate yourself.
To fix yourself.
Before you reach out to anyone else.
So of course it feels like this.
And just letting that land.
Of course it feels like this.
Notice the acknowledgement.
And notice what happens in your body.
When it's not all framed as something wrong with you.
You don't have to believe anything new.
Just allow a little less pressure to solve yourself right now.
And as you stay here.
You might begin to notice something else.
You are not completely alone.
Life is moving.
And maybe if it feels accessible.
You can let in the idea of another person.
Not someone you have to call.
But just the possibility that connection exists.
That what you are feeling is not separate from being human.
You don't have to leave this moment to find it.
Just letting that sit next to the loneliness.
Not replacing it.
Noticing both.
You and this feeling.
And the possibility of connection existing at the same time.
Nothing has to resolve.
Just this small shift.
From I have to fix this alone.
To maybe I don't.
You might place a hand on your body.
Just to stay with yourself here.
And noticing.
Even in this.
You don't have to carry it entirely on your own.
You can stay here as long as you'd like.
Gently returning to the feeling of being here.
And carrying with you.
That this feeling was never proof that something is wrong with you.
But maybe a signal.
A signal of how much you were meant to be held in something much larger.
