Welcome.
Wherever you are right now,
Allow yourself to arrive just as you are.
You don't need to fix anything.
You don't need to understand anything.
And you don't need to forgive perfectly.
Simply being here is enough.
Gently allow your body to settle.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
And if it feels comfortable,
Close your eyes as well.
Take a deep breath in,
And a gentle exhale through your mouth.
You are in a safe moment.
This is a safe space.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Not changing it.
Just noticing it.
Just being mindful of the inhale and the exhale.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest.
The subtle movement of your belly.
If your mind wanders,
That's ok.
Each time it does,
Gently bring it back and anchor it to your breath with love and compassion.
As if you were guiding a tired child home.
Now gently bring to mind the feeling of shame.
Not a specific memory.
Just the feeling itself.
Notice where it lives in your body.
Maybe your throat.
Maybe your stomach.
You are not doing this to relieve pain.
You are not doing this for further heartache.
You are doing this to witness it with compassion.
Silently say to yourself,
Something in me is hurting.
And let that be enough.
You are not broken for feeling this way.
You are human.
Now imagine placing a warm,
Gentle hand over the part of your body that feels heavy.
And softly say,
Either aloud or silently,
I see you there.
I know you're trying to protect me.
You don't have to carry this burden alone.
Let those words land,
Not as affirmations,
But as permission.
If emotion arises,
Tears,
Tightness,
Numbness,
Allow it.
Nothing here needs to be pushed away.
Now gently reflect on forgiveness.
Not as excusing what happened.
Not as saying it didn't matter.
But as choosing slowly to release yourself from carrying the weight of blame.
You might repeat softly,
I forgive myself for what I didn't know then.
I forgive myself for surviving the only way I could.
I forgive myself because I'm human.
If these words feel hard,
That's okay.
Even willingness to forgive is enough for today.
Now imagine a soft light around your body.
Not bright.
Not overwhelming.
Just warm and steady.
This light doesn't judge you.
It doesn't ask for explanations.
It doesn't point a finger.
It simply reminds you,
You are worthy of love,
Even with your flaws.
I'll say it again.
You are worthy of love,
Even with your flaws.
You are deserving of gentleness,
Even with your past.
You are allowed to begin again.
Let that truth sink in gently.
You are allowed to begin again.
You are deserving of gentleness,
Even with your past.
You are worthy of love,
Even with your flaws.
Take one slow breath in,
And a slow breath out.
Focus on the inhale through your nostrils,
And the exhale from your mouth.
When you're ready,
Gently bring awareness back to the room.
Forgiveness is not a single moment.
It's a relationship with yourself,
Lifelong.
Remember,
Forgiveness is not a single moment.
The relationship with yourself is lifelong,
And today you showed up for it.
Thank yourself for being here.
Namaste.
