Hey,
It's Colby.
So I tend to tune out the moment someone tries to tell me what to think.
With so much media filtering through our consciousness,
It feels like both a blessing and a curse.
Sometimes,
I just want to lock my phone in a box and throw away the key.
We've all been there.
Our thoughts racing a million miles an hour.
That's the beauty of meditation.
No one is telling you what to think.
In fact,
You're training yourself not to think at all.
You're developing a deep,
Personal connection with both yourself and the universe.
You're like an ancient explorer setting sail.
You're venturing into the vast unknown of your own consciousness,
Navigating open waters that no one has charted before.
Something so simple,
Yet so radical.
So,
Let's get radical.
Okay,
Let's get comfortable.
You can close your eyes or keep them open,
Whatever feels right.
Begin by listening to the music and focusing on your breath.
Let's breathe into the music.
Thoughts will come and go,
And that's okay.
The fact that you're aware of them,
Aware of your thoughts,
That's pretty incredible.
You're giving your mind the break it deserves,
A much-needed break.
It can get back to its marathon soon enough.
But for now,
Just breathe,
Really breathe.
Our minds work like a giant antenna,
Constantly picking up signals,
But not all of them come in clearly.
So,
Let's tune the frequency,
Sharpen the connection,
Until we get the clearest,
Cleanest signal.
Let's clear out the static.
I'd like to share a quote from Eckhart Tolle.
Be the silent watcher of your thoughts and behavior.
You are beneath the thinker.
You are the stillness beneath the mental noise.
And that's what we're doing right now.
We're clearing the mental noise.
We're clearing out the static.
So,
Let's get the clearest and cleanest signal.
Like I said earlier,
Our minds can get back to that marathon race later.
Thank you,
My friends.
Much love.
