4 Minute Grounding Practice

This is a very short (4 minute) grounding practice that can be used when you need a quick reset or to refocus or clear your head. Being grounded helps us be aware in the present moment and also allows us to more easily connect to our innate guidance.

And just make sure that both of your feet are planted on the floor.

Your hands can be in your lap just not touching each other.

Make sure your spine is relatively straight and then go ahead and close your eyes.

And I just want you to take a deep breath in and let it go.

Take another deep breath in and let it go.

And just really feel your body settling into the chair.

Feel the bottom of the chair fully supporting you.

Feel your feet firmly planted on the floor.

And I want you to imagine that you're growing roots out of the bottoms of your feet.

So it's like you're a tree and you are growing roots out of the bottoms of your feet.

These are really thick,

Strong roots winding their way into the earth further and further,

Deeper and deeper until they reach the very,

Very center of the earth.

And I want you to tether them there.

So imagine that there's a pure,

Bright,

White crystal in the center of the earth and you are tethering your roots to that crystal.

Tethering is also like tying them off or connecting them to the center of the earth.

And so you're feeling very connected,

Very grounded and very centered.

And typically I draw up different color lights depending on what the person that I'm working with needs.

But today we're going to draw up a brilliant pink light.

And we're bringing this light up through the roots all the way up through the bottoms of your feet,

Bringing it up through your legs,

Through your knees and your hips.

And as we bring this beautiful pink light up the backside of your body,

I want you to just feel all the muscles in your back relaxing and letting go.

Feel the muscles in your shoulders relaxing and letting go.

Feel your neck muscles just relaxing and letting go.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

And just even let your jaw go slack.

Your tongue can just be even floating in your mouth.

Bringing this beautiful pink light around the front side of your body.

Feel the fronts of your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your stomach,

Just relaxing and letting go.

Feel your arms,

Your elbows,

Your wrists and your hands all just relaxing and letting go.

And now bringing this beautiful pink light into your heart,

I want you to feel your heart opening so that you can hear the messages that your angels and guides have for you today.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

One more deep breath in and let it go.

And with your eyes still closed,

Just bring your hands together,

Get some energy moving there between them.

You can place your palms over your eyes.

Open your eyes and just gently move your hands away from your face to come back into the room.

And that is our beautiful grounding meditation.

You should feel more present,

More aware,

More in your body,

More connected after that meditation.

You can listen to that anytime that you need a little bit of grounding.

You can listen to it.

I would encourage you to listen to it each time before you watch one of my readings so that you can be open to the messages that are coming through for you.
