Oh,
Dearly beloved,
I'm so happy you're able to join me and join us because you aren't the only one listening.
We're so thankful that you're able to join in this practice,
This Vipassana mindfulness meditation hosted by me,
Kalfani,
Now.
I know that your life is a very complex one,
One that is wracked and riddled with responsibility.
And I know that you are feeling the constant trials of your nation,
Your environment,
Your family,
Your friends.
I know that you feel the conflict between those powers that seem overall and those beings toiling and working.
I know that you feel a conflict between who you are and what you are and your habitat,
Your nature,
Your earthly environment.
I know that these conflicts concern you daily.
Sometimes,
They keep you up at night.
I know that you hunger for a sense of fulfillment and enlightenment.
I know that you hunger for freedom,
That money just seems like it just can't fulfill.
Carnal pleasures just can't fulfill this need of yours and mine.
I know that you feel the sun on your skin for only a second in a moment and you're reminded of how unique your existence is.
And hopefully,
Through this process of finding the here and now with me,
You will come closer to what you are looking for.
And so,
To ground ourselves in the moment for just a moment,
I'd ask that you find a cozy position.
And for you,
That may be lying down,
For you,
That may be standing up,
For you,
That may be sitting down.
Find that position just now and if you can,
If it feels okay,
If you have the lung capacity,
I'd ask that you now just take a deep breath and sigh out.
We're going to do this five times together,
Okay?
So it sounds like this.
Deep breath in.
And then a sigh out.
Oh,
That feels so good.
Let's do it again.
A deep breath in,
Five counts.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And a deep breath out and a sigh.
Let's go again.
Another deep breath in,
Five counts.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And now expel with a sigh.
One more time.
We're going to go deep,
Deep breath.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And now expel with a sigh.
Take a deep breath in through your nostrils.
And again,
You're now fixed in your position.
If you could sense into your face,
Your cheekbones,
And smile a little bit.
Smile hard,
Smile hard,
Smile hard,
Smile hard,
Smile hard.
And now relax the face.
Relax the muscles.
And feel an overall relaxing throughout the face.
No more smiling,
No more frowning.
Just a being.
Then witnessing,
Silently,
For a moment.
Your breath.
And now.
Take a deep breath in through your nostrils.
Perhaps you may hear sounds close by or far off.
Witness the sounds.
Perhaps witness them without giving them full attention or trying to understand what they are or where they are.
And if your eyes are closed,
Wonderful,
And if your eyes are not closed,
That's fine too,
But perhaps we soften the gaze and just feel a great sensing of looseness through the skin and the face.
For some,
Allow the mouth to just hang freely,
No pretension here,
No one to be beautiful for here or handsome or even awake and aware.
There's only you witnessing the now,
Right now.
Again,
Take a deep breath in.
And expel with a sigh,
Ah.
This time,
Try to breathe through your heart.
Breathe into your heart.
A very soft breath deep into your heart.
And perhaps this is a wonderful time to remind yourself of the safety of your mindfulness practice and the nurturing effect of just checking in with what's happening with you and where you are right now.
And perhaps this is a beautiful time to remind yourself that those conflicts that you may have felt and are feeling and have witnessed,
That they are the tied lace that only needs tugging with one string and the knot is loosed and the binds are free.
And know that those conflicts are only a momentary experience and that solutions are happening also right now.
And so this balancing effect of our reality is a key component to its equilibrium.
And that is an equilibrium that you are a part of.
You are an heir of.
You are this equilibrium as well.
Just be with that idea and that thought for a moment right now.
Right now.
You will go too or you will forget or there might be pain or there may be elasticity.
You you you And if your mind begins to wander away from your breath,
That's fine just ask the mind,
The focuses to continue to be centered into what's happening here and now the only thing happening now is the gravity of your body the breath that you draw and expel the tastes in your mouth,
The sounds in your ear although the mind wanders and moves,
What you see in the mind is not happening it's not happening right now and so the brain is perhaps a tool of the observer,
You,
The observer and as you can witness the breath and you witness the mind,
You are the observer of the two existences components of your experience and so perhaps just witness without emotion and without attachment right now you you you you you and now as we come to the close of this meditation,
I'd like to again thank you for joining us truly as you practice,
You enrich yourself and you enrich your world we are part of your world and so you enrich us and so a great thanks we'd like to share with you as well remember that you are always available for this kind of connection with yourself and for this kind of giving to your world you only need to find the time and we are here all the meta in the world to you I'm California now
