Hi,
My name is Kaylee and today we are practicing a meditation to activate our solar plexus for inner power.
Let's close our eyes in a comfortable position either seated with your legs crossed or not,
With your back straight,
Spine long,
Tall,
Balanced.
If you prefer,
You're free to lean against a wall or a couch or lie down if it's more comfortable for you.
But if sitting in a chair,
Have your feet planted on the floor.
Feel free to rest your arms,
Your palms,
Anywhere that is comfortable for you.
Now let's start by focusing our attention on the breath.
Let's take three usual breaths,
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose with our mouths closed.
And I will count to four during the inhale and count to six during the exhale for this practice in particular.
Inhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Exhale six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Again,
Inhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Exhale six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now,
Back to your normal breathing rhythm.
Slowly start counting now from ten to one until you're fully relaxed.
Inhaling,
Exhaling.
Inhaling,
Exhaling.
Take your time.
No need to rush.
Imagine that the energy of the universe is running through you,
Starting at the top of your head,
On your crown chakra,
Flowing all the way down through all parts of your body,
Grounding you on Earth.
From there,
This energy heads back,
Passing through your root chakra at the base of your spine,
Your sacral chakra,
A little bit below your navel.
And it stops at your solar plexus chakra,
Around the area of your stomach,
The solar plexus chakra,
The chakra of energy,
Fire and willpower.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Now,
Picture a bright yellow sun light radiating from your solar plexus.
At this point,
We are starting our hike on a beautiful reservation,
Walking a long trail enriched with diverse flora and fauna.
Picture yourself connecting with nature.
And while you're doing so,
Feel the energy of the sun bathing your entire body.
And recharging your inner battery,
Your inner being.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
As you continue,
Consider tripolative thoughts or intentions you would like to cultivate for this week,
This month,
Or the rest of the year.
It can be anything,
So long as those are positive thoughts and intentions.
Think of the first intention and inhale nice and deeply,
And exhale nice and deeply.
Now,
Consider your second intention and inhale nice and deeply,
And exhale nice and deeply.
Now,
Consider your third intention and inhale nice and deeply,
And exhale nice and deeply.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing strong in your power,
And inhale nice and deeply,
And exhale nice and deeply.
And when you're ready,
Slowly inhaling and exhaling,
Make your way back to where we started on our solar plexus.
And once you settle where you are,
And after showing appreciation for yourself,
Whatever way feels good for you,
Gently open your eyes.
This meditation was meant to re-energize our bodies,
Remove any blockages,
And reclaim our inner power.
