Hi,
My name is Kelly.
Welcome.
And today we are going to practice a guided meditation with a focus on the root chakra.
Let's close our eyes in a comfortable position.
Either sit with your legs crossed or not.
If you prefer,
You can lean against a wall or a couch,
Or you can also lie down,
Whatever feels comfortable.
If sitting in a chair,
Have your feet planted on the floor.
Feel free to rest your arms,
Your palms,
Whatever feels comfortable as well.
Now let's take a few deep breaths,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the mouth.
Take a deep breath in,
Release.
Take another deep breath in,
Let it go.
Now let's take another deep breath,
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Release.
Now,
Back to a normal breathing rhythm,
And slowly start counting down from 10 to 1 until you're fully relaxed.
Bring your attention to the base of your spine,
To your root chakra.
The root chakra is the first of our energy centers.
It's also the connection of physical world with our inner being,
Responsible for sense of survival,
Safety,
And stability.
Imagine a beautiful light radiating from your root chakra.
From there,
This energy flows through your legs,
Your arms,
Your feet,
Your toes,
Radiating large deep roots on earth.
Take a deep breath,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Now,
Imagine you're walking in nature,
Making your way through a vast,
Beautiful valley.
Feel the grass underneath your feet,
And the energy of the earth making you more grounded and stable.
Feel the light breeze whispering in your ears,
And the birds singing.
Imagine the smell,
The scent of the earth,
Of the plants,
The trees,
Of nature overall.
Keep inhaling and exhaling while enjoying all the sensations.
As you continue your journey,
You'll hear water or the sound of water nearby.
While you're feeling the water touch your skin,
Take some deep,
Good inhales and exhales.
Breathe in nice and deeply,
Breathe out nice and deeply.
Again,
Breathe in nice and deeply,
Breathe out nice and deeply.
And if you feel so,
When you inhale,
Set a intention,
A word of gratitude for whatever you want for the day,
The week,
Or the month.
And while breathing out,
Let all the worries and tensions go.
Let's spend some time enjoying this energy.
Inhale,
Exhale.
And when you're ready,
Slowly inhaling and exhaling.
Follow the same path that brought you here,
Back to your root chakra.
And after showing some appreciation for yourself,
For taking the time to connect with nature and your inner being,
Gently start opening your eyes.
Thank you for joining me today.
Namaste.
