Hello and welcome friends.
My name is Casey and I am one of the instructors,
Yoga teachers,
Meditation guides here on Insight Timer.
I'm so happy to be on here to talk to you a little bit about one of my favorite topics of health and wellness.
It is one of my passions along with yoga and meditation and all of the Wu things like Reiki and EFT,
Some of my other meditations I've led on here.
So today's topic is.

The four pillars of health.
But before I dive into the four pillars of health,
I'm going to give you a little background on me.
By trade,
I am a special education teacher.
I hold a master's degree and a credential in mild-moderate disabilities.
My expertise,
My favorite group of kiddos to work with are the kiddos with autism,
The high functioning ones with Asperger's,
Tons of fun.
And I taught until 2016,
Actually 2017,
And then I left education for about nine years.
I am happy to be heading back into the classroom this fall.
Also,
While in that time,
I have pursued multiple yoga certifications,
Yin yoga,
Trauma-sensitive trauma-informed yoga,
Multiple kids yoga and restorative yoga.
So those are all of the kinds and styles I love to teach along with vinyasa and hatha.
Also within that time I did my health coaching certification So a health and wellness coach as well as holistic nutrition.
I do believe in using food to heal the body That is exactly what we're gonna talk about.
So the four pillars of health.
What are they and why are they so important?
Well,
This is just gonna give you the four topics and then each video I do was a follow-up.
We'll get a little more in-depth very briefly Okay,
So the four pillars of health the things that help us to stay healthy are Sleep,
Are you getting enough?
Nutrition,
Are you eating the right foods?
Stress management,
Are you managing all of the stress that you have in your life?
What are the good ways and bad ways?
We'll get more into that.
And then finally,
The last one is movement.
So the four pillars of health,
That is the topic.
