Feeling connected with nature.
Helping you really tune in to your birthright.
A sense of belonging to the natural world.
So take a moment to arrive in this moment.
A moment to be present,
To feel your body breathing.
Noticing the sensations in your fingers and toes.
Feeling like your skin is alive.
Noticing your body breathing itself.
Pulling beautiful oxygen in.
And releasing what it doesn't need via carbon dioxide exhaled out of your body.
Feel that beautiful rhythm that you have.
Now imagine yourself outdoors.
In a place of natural beauty that brings you peace.
Perhaps it's a beautiful old forest.
Or a mountain trail.
By a lake or an ocean.
Picture yourself there.
Sense yourself there.
You can imagine that world rising up around you.
No matter where you're sitting now.
Imagine that landscape is transforming.
Even as you sit or lay in this gentle stillness.
You are aware that life,
That nature is arising around you.
There are plants,
Perhaps trees,
Perhaps bodies of water.
And they're coming into existence as you sit.
Your body breathing naturally with ease.
And you can sense that there are wonderful colors and textures of nature,
Of life around you.
And your ears can hear right now the sounds.
What are the sounds that are in this world that's around you?
You sense the air,
That wonderful fresh air on your skin.
And the ground beneath your feet.
You can imagine you've got no shoes or socks on.
Just bare feet on that earth.
Perhaps you sense a coolness beneath your feet.
Or some warmth if you're on the sun warm stand.
Taking a moment to really imagine feeling those sensations on the bottom of your feet.
And feel how the body,
Your body,
Your human body is not separate from nature.
Your breath is the breath of trees.
A wonderful relationship.
Exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide with each other.
In a symbiotic,
Shared rhythm.
Your blood carries minerals that once came from the earth.
The water in your cells once fell as rain.
You are not outside of nature.
You are nature.
You belong to this vast,
Intricate web of life.
Let yourself feel a kinship with the trees,
The rivers,
The sky.
You can imagine touching the land with your hands.
Wrapping your arms around a tree trunk.
Feeling how loving and stable it is.
Dipping your fingertips into a creek.
Feeling that coolness.
And pulling up a smooth stone from the bed of that water.
Turning it over in your hands.
Perhaps it feels a little slippery or mossy.
And you gently set it back down.
Letting your fingers move through the water.
You feel a sense of homecoming.
A deep belonging.
Breathe with the earth.
Rest in the truth that you are a part of something vast,
Beautiful,
And interconnected.
