Hi there.
Do you feel any tension in your body today?
I'm dropping in here to share a moment of calm and I invite you to pause and do this with me now.
Close down your eyes or you can cap them,
Which means to look down at the floor or whatever is directly in front of you.
Take a nice long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Hold your breath at the top for just a moment.
And then exhale.
Nice and long and slow through your nose or mouth,
Whatever is most comfortable.
Return your breath to its natural rhythm and depth and sit with me for a moment.
We're going to feel our bodies.
There are places that often hold tension,
So we'll start with those.
Notice your forehead and your eyes.
And relax that space right between your eyebrows.
Let your jaw drop just a little and relax your tongue inside of your mouth.
Lower your shoulders down and away from your ears.
You And feel your chest and belly rise as you inhale.
And as you exhale,
Relax your belly.
Take a moment to feel if there's anywhere else that could use some release and do that on your own.
Our bodies are all different,
So they might need different things today.
Let's send a quick thank you to our bodies,
Working tirelessly on our behalf.
You may even like to bring your hand to your chest.
And say,
Thank you,
Body.
Thank you.
And now open your eyes and look at me.
Thank you for joining me for a moment of calm today.
