Will you try something with me?
We're gonna do a mindfulness practice that can make your day feel just a little bit better.
Let's start by closing down your eyes,
Or if it's more comfortable,
You can cap them,
Which means to look at the floor or whatever is directly in front of you.
Let's take a nice,
Long,
Slow deep breath in.
Hold it at the top for just a moment and then let it out fully and completely through your mouth or nose,
Whatever is most comfortable.
Let your body relax as you let your breath out.
And then we'll breathe naturally for the rest of the practice.
So I'm now going to invite you to bring to mind three things in your life that you're grateful for.
List them out in your mind.
You can even picture them.
Imagine that they're right in front of you.
You Why are you grateful for these things?
What value do they bring to your life?
How do you feel when you use or wear or around these things?
Okay,
Now bring to mind three people in your life you feel grateful for.
They can be people you know personally,
Or they can be people who've had some sort of impact on your life.
Envision that those people are near you,
Standing in front of you even,
And that you're telling them.
Why you're grateful for them.
What value have those people brought to your life?
You How do you feel when you're around them?
Now,
Bring to mind three things that you feel grateful for about yourself.
It can be a personality trait.
It can be a physical trait,
A skill.
If it feels hard,
That's okay.
This takes practice and it's important to practice this skill.
Of self-love.
What are you grateful for about yourself today?
Okay,
Good.
Thank you for doing this gratitude practice with me today.
Have a love filled and peaceful day,
My friend.
